NCAA approves Nov. 25 college basketball start date

By CHUCKIE MAGGIO The NCAA Division I Council approved a Nov. 25 start date for the 2020-21 college basketball season on Wednesday, announcing plans for a Thanksgiving Eve opener after an offseason of coronavirus-fueled uncertainty.
