How they got here: Victor opened the Class AA playoffs with a 6-5 win over Hilton, followed by a 15-2 victory against Webster Schroeder (Read More). Victor then captured the Section V Class AA title with a 3-2 walk off win over McQuaid Jesuit (Read More). In the state playoffs, Victor defeated No. 6 seed Lancaster 3-1 in the quarterfinals (Read More). Baker started the Section III playoffs with a 5-1 win over Fayetteville-Manlius, followed by a 15-2 win against Utica Proctor and shutting out West Genesee 1-0 in the title game. Baker then pitched another 1-0 shut out in the state quarterfinals, beating No. 2 seed Columbia.

What’s at stake: A spot in the Class A final against the winner of No. 8 seed Wantagh and No. 1 seed Lakeland
How they got here: Canandaigua allowed four runs in three games in the section playoffs, beating Brighton 1-0, Greece Athena 6-4, and Brockport 4-0 in the Class A1 title game (Read More). Canandaigua went on to beat Wayne 2-1 in the Class A crossover game (Read More) and finally No. 6 seed Maryvale 4-0 in the state quarterfinals to win the Far West Region title (Read More). Queensbury reached the semifinals with a 8-3 win over No. 3 seed East Syracuse-Minoa.

What’s at stake: A spot in the Class C final against the winner of No. 8 seed East Rockaway and No. 7 seed Ticonderoga
How they got here: Avon held teams to one run in the Class C1 playoffs, defeating East Rochester 9-0, Pembroke 13-1 and finally Gananda 6-0 in the C1 title game. Avon then met Geneseo in the Class C crossover game, winning 4-3, and beat No. 6 seed Silver Creek/Forestville 3-0 in the quarterfinals (Read More). Lansing took down No. 3 seed Little Falls 7-3 in the state quarterfinals.
