Jalen Shaw has entered the transfer portal, as first reported by Verbal Commits.

Shaw, an Illinoisan who transferred to St. Bonaventure from Triton Community College, played 112 minutes over 20 games in a Bona uniform, totaling 28 points and 25 rebounds. After backing up all-conference center Osun Osunniyi and averaging about six minutes an appearance, Shaw will seek an opportunity for more playing time.

The Bonnies now have five available scholarships for the 2021-22 season.

I can understand. He wants more minutes than hes going to get at Bona. He just doesnt have the skills to command more than 6 or 8 minutes playing behind Osun. Too much of a drop- off. I hope he finds a school at a lower level where he can get more PT. We need more of a true power forward type, if we can find one.
