East High senior Zechariah Harris-Scott will continue his basketball career at the collegiate level. The 6-foot-6 forward committed to Clarendon College via Twitter, Saturday.

Harris-Scott netted 22.8 points and tallied 22 double-doubles in 24 games played this season en route to leading the Eagles to the Section V Class A2 title and a spot in the NYS Far West Regionals. The senior forward finished third in the Rochester City Athletic Conference (RCAC) Lower Division in scoring behind NE Douglass senior Adonis Flagler (24.3 PPG) and School of the Arts junior Ethain Clarke-DeSouza (23.1 PPG).
Harris-Scott poured in 20 or more points in 17 games, including a season-high 34 on January 18th in an 82-80 overtime victory over the Park School (VI). The 6-foot-6 forward completed his varsity career with 1,153 points. Harris-Scott’s strong season earned him RCAC Lower Division Player of the Year and a spot on the NYS Large Schools teams.
The Clarendon College Bulldogs finished with a 26-3 record, including a 14-2 mark in Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) play.
