Rochester natives Jaden Bradley and Gerald Drumgoole Jr. have announced that they will be playing at different schools next year. Bradley, a former McDonald’s All-American, is transferring out of Alabama, while Drumgoole is transferring out of Albany.

While Bradley is undecided, Drumgoole has announced he will be attending the University of Delaware via his Twitter page.

This will be Drumgoole’s third team during his collegiate career, after playing two years at Pittsburgh and two years at the University of Albany.

Drumgoole averaged 15.7 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 2.5 APG as a senior for Albany. His best performance as a Great Dane came back in January of this year, when he had 29 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a loss against NJIT.  He spent one season at national high school powerhouse La Lumiere (Indiana) with former McQuaid star and current NBA player Isaiah Stewart. Before that, he spent three seasons at Irondequoit where he was a pivotal piece of the Eagles winning back-to-back Section V Class A1 titles (2017, 2018) and the 2017 state championship.

Bradley averaged 6.4 PPG, 3.1 APG, and 2.6 RPG as a freshman for the Crimson Tide. He scored a career-high 18 points in a loss against Gonzaga back in December. Bradley moved out of the Rochester area before he started middle school, but went on to win the North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year award in 2020 as well as a Class AAAA North Carolina state championship for Cannon High School (NC). Bradley was ranked 20th in the final ESPN 100 ranking as a high school prospect in the Class of 2022.
