CARBONDALE, Ill. – Saint Louis used a stifling defense and a game-high 14 points from Brian Conklin in a 61-42 Billiken victory against Southern Illinois Tuesday night at SIU Arena. ST. LOUIS – Junior forward Cody Ellis led Saint Louis with 13 points and six rebounds in a convincing 71-37 Billiken victory against Tennessee State Friday night in the season opener for both teams.
