Heckman scored on a one-yard rush, while Woods found the end zone on a 14-yard run. Ryder Reichert led the Trojans with 82 yards on 10 carries. Woods racked up 54 yards on the ground. On defense, Dylan Pohl made 2.5 sacks and three tackles. Duke Snyder led with eight tackles.

Michael McGavisk went 10-for-19 in the air for Newark/Marion, completing three touchdown passes and racking up 173 yards. Shaquonn Carithers ran six times, totaling 45 yards and a touchdown. Underhill made two catches for 35 yards, while Moore hauled in four passes for 69 yards. Zymere Smith led the Golden Eagles on the ground with 203 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 23 carries.
