Fallows doubled and scored in the first to give Mendon all the runs it needed. The junior catcher singled and scored in the third. van Baaren was part of a three-run sixth inning as Mendon put the game out of reach. Fallows was 2-for-4. van Baaren went 2-3. Quinn Sargent accounted for three walks and a run scored. Emily Stanger singled and scored. Leila Fay doubled and drove in two runs. Alexandra Van Ginhoven and Bella Stradley had a hit apiece. Goldberg scattered three hits and a walk for Mendon’s ninth shutout of the season. Batavia’s Elizabeth Grazioplene finished 2-3. Arianna Almekinder had a hit. Giana Mruczek finished with 13 strike outs including the 450th of her career.

Ava West was 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI in the win. Biz Baglieri was 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI. Kinsley Keil singled, homered, drove in three runs and scored twice. Emma Juliano was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Leah Murray singled, scored twice and had an RBI. Sarah Ferruzza connected on a two-run home run and scored two runs. Julianna Frumusa doubled and scored. Anna Riedl had an RBI and Amber Kohlmeier walked twice and scored once.

Maia Gathercole and Emma Dunman combined to scatter five hits and HF-L erupted for five runs in the sixth inning to win for the second time in three games. Gathercole started and struck out one over four innings of work. Dunman fanned eight in four innings of relief. Morgan Dunman and Meghan Gruschow started the sixth with back-to-back base hits. Dunman came home on a passed ball. Kate Dailor walked, and Madison Schubach made it a 2-0 game with a sacrifice bunt. Gathercole and Alysa Richards both added an RBI single to the attack. Morgan Dunman finished 3-4. Gruschow was 2-4. Gathercole and Richards both went 2-3 in the win. Mollie Finn singled and scored. Jenna Fowler also had a base hit. Paige Stein and Isabella had two hits apiece for Spencerport.

Lola Rivera singled, doubled and pitched the complete game allowing one run and striking out 17.

Abigail O’Meara and Makaylah Titus both scored twice. Kendall Buttles struck out seven and hurled a one-hitter. Buttles also walked twice and scored twice. Ella Dormitzer had the lone hit for SOTA.

Loretta Sorochty struck out 20 including the 600th K of her career and hurled a two-hitter to lead ND-B to its fourth win in the past five games. The senior walked two batters and took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before surrendering a leadoff base hit. Sorochty finished 2-for-5 with a triple, two RBI and three runs scored out of the leadoff spot. Emma Sisson was 2-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. Mia Treleaven went 2-3 with an RBI and run scored. Katie Landers and Olivia Gillard both singled, drove in a run and scored another. Gianna Falleti was 2-4 with an RBI and run scored. Amelia Sorochty singled, walked and scored twice. Hannah Tenney singled and scored.

For the second time in as many days, Alexander erased a deficit in the top of the seventh this time, scoring six runs on four hits and held on for a third win in four games. Alexander piled up 12 hits in the contest. Ava Yax finished the day with four RBI while Madison Boyce and Faith Goodenbury both knocked in two runs. Sawyer, Boyce, Yax, and Brianna Neyman each collected two hits for Alexander. Emily Pietrzykowski, Faith Goodenbury, Lilly Szymkowiak, Carley Shepard and Ella Felski finished with a hit apiece. Madison Boyce struck out six to earn the win. The senior surrendered six hits and six runs (five earned) over seven innings.
“What an exciting finish to the regular season tonight,” Alexander head coach John Goodenbury said via email. “Coming from behind in back-to-back games helps us build some mental toughness heading into sectionals.
“Barker is a good team, they battle hard, they are also the top seed in Section 6 Class C with a record of 16-3 as a result. We wanted to show them we are a better team than our record has indicated. We had a bunch of games that slipped away from us this season, we got sloppy a few times in those games and it bit us, our girls were determined tonight that this was not going to be another game we let get away.”

Brooke Rodas went 3-for-3 with a triple, was hit by pitch, had a sacrifice fly and two RBI to lead Kendall. Maggie Zastrow went 3-5 with an RBI in the win. Ella Christ was 2-4 with two doubles and four RBI. Sophia Picardo singled and tripled in four at-bats and had two RBI. Danielle Offhaus struck out four and threw an eight-hitter. Offhaus was 2-3 at the plate with a walk and three RBI. Alea Barrett, Makaila Abrams, Gracie Robb and Angelina Aguirre each added a hit. Lyndonville’s Addison Dillenbeck went 2-4 with a double, triple, walk, and two RBI.
