Rochester sent eight to the plate in a decisive four-run sixth inning, and the Red Wings went on to win their fourth consecutive game with a 10-6 victory over Worcester.
Jake Noll‘s two-out, two-run double gave the Wings a lead they did not surrender at 5-4. Brandon Snyder followed with run-scoring two-bagger, and Humberto Arteaga capped the inning with an RBI single.
Arteaga finished 4-for-5 on the night with three RBI and a run scored.
Rafael Bautista had three hits including a double and scored a run. Blake Swihart and Carter Kieboom collected two hits apiece. Yadiel Hernandez homered for the second straight night.
Kyle Lobstein hurled a scoreless sixth inning in relief to pick up the win. The left-hander struck out two and improved to 2-0 on the season.
Dakota Bacus pitched a scoreless ninth inning.
The Wings and Worcester traded runs in the first, second and fourth innings before the Red Sox took a 4-3 lead in the fifth. After taking the lead in the sixth, Rochester added three more run in the eighth.
Worcester (29-18) and Rochester (19-28) continue the series on Sunday with a 1:05 p.m. first pitch at Frontier Field.
