Dan Cook (Pittsford Mendon) led St. John Fisher College men’s basketball with 25.0 points, 11.3 rebounds and two steals over three wins to earn Empire 8 Player of the Week honors for March 15-21st.
The sophomore transfer logged a pair of double-doubles while shooting 25-of-41 (.610) from the floor and 23-of-27 (.852) from the free throw line for the week.
Cook had 21 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Nazareth. He scored a career-high 36 at Utica and finished the week with 18 points and 10 boards against Alfred.
A Second-Team All-State member as a senior, Cook led Mendon to a 26-1 mark and a spot in the 2019 NYS Class A title game.
