Brendon Diabo sealed the win with a game-ending interception with 1:23 left in the fourth. A pressure from Peyton Consaul forced the Pittsford quarterback to get rid of the pass under stress. The Cadets took the lead with 10:06 remaining in the fourth behind a 21-yard touchdown pass from Landon Ciliberto to Ryan Kurtz. Hilton scored its first touchdown on a 69-yard scoop and score from Jacob Soricone. Pittsford scored on a one-yard quarterback sneak late in the first half.

Rushawn Baker scored the first Blue Devils touchdown of the season on a four-yard run. Baker didn’t stop there, the senior scored three more times capping off his four-touchdown day. The Bucknell commit did his damage in the red zone, where all four touchdowns came within the 10-yard line. James Knapp connected with wide receiver Cody Jensen for a touchdown with 22 seconds left in the first half giving Victor a 21-0 lead. Freshman Nick Leonard finished the Blue Devils scoring with a pick-six in the fourth quarter. Max Fiorica made all seven extra points, and a 36-yard field goal which was the first of his career.

Running back Jacob Derby finished with four total touchdowns as the Class B sectional runner-up won its season opener via shutout. Zach Strzelec had an all-around performance in Attica’s opening win, Strzelec had 13 carried for 189 yards and five touchdowns alongside eight tackles and an interception on the defensive side. Ayden Goll and Wyatt Kauffman each reached the end zone. Kauffman had eight tackles with one of them for a loss. Jeremiah Donohue and Lucas Johnson shared a team-high of nine tackles. Adam Bukowski and had an interception of his own.

Senior running back Ty Mott rushed for a game-high 213 years on 19 carries, and reached the end zone five times on the ground. Oakfield-Alabama/Elba totaled 511 rushing yards. Senior Jayden Hughes accumulated 93 yards and two scores. Gaige Armbrewster recorded 69 yards on the ground along with one touchdown, and Ty Kornow ended with 67 rushing yards. Freshman quarterback Bodie Hyde scored a 19 yard rushing touchdown. Senior linebacker Peyton Yasses led the defense with seven tacks. Zach Howard had an interception and one tackle for loss.

With the game tied 0-0 at halftime, Avon struck first with a 23-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Rowland. Adam Mariani was on the receiving end of the Rowland pass. Rowland reached the end zone again on a one-yard run capping off a 14-0 third quarter. With 8:23 left in the fourth, Caledonia-Mumford/Byron-Bergen got on the board with Jake Cappotelli 15 yard receiving touchdown from Kyle Wade. Caledonia-Mumford/Byron-Bergen could not convert the extra point. Mark Poles-Harrison caught a 19 yard touchdown pass from Wade with 1:08 remaining, but Avon stopped the two-point attempt to win its season opener. Thomas Welch had 102 rushing yards on 20 carries for Avon. For Caledonia-Mumford/Byron-Bergen, Poles-Harrison finished with 52 receiving yards, and Cappotelli ended with 61 receiving yards.

Dylan Warner reached pay dirt three times for the Fighting Irish alongside his 105 rushing yards. Warner had a rushing touchdown from 23 yards out, six yards out, and a receiving touchdown from 18 yards. Warner had eight tackles and a sack on the defensive end. Cody Henry had a team-high eight tackles alongside two sacks and one interception. On the offensive end, Henry had 62 rushing yards and one touchdown. Connor Williams had four tackles and five sacks, and scored on a blocked punt. Quarterback Collin McCulley completed 12-of-20 passes for 119 yards and one touchdown. Anthony Zambito grabbed seven passes for 38 yards, and had a kickoff return. Batavia-Notre Dame had 312 total yards while holding Lyons to 52.

Junior tight end Jake Laney opened the scoring for the Trojans on the first play of the second quarter hauling in a 17-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Nick Kramer. Freshman fullback Clayton Bezon scored on a four-yard touchdown to finish the Trojans 14 point second quarter. Up 14-6, Alexander took the opening drive of the third quarter and went 75 yards. The drive culminated in a three yard touchdown run from Brayden Woods. To begin the 4th quarter, Jay Morrison went nine yards on a sweep giving Alexander a 27-6 lead. Junior kicker Eric Cline finished the scoring on the night with a 28 yard field goal. Brayden Woods finished with 154 yards on 14 carries as the Trojans finished with 376 yards on the ground. Defensively, senior linebacker Devin Dean led the Trojans with nine tackles. Safety Jay Morrison had six, Nick Kramer and Jake Laney each recorded five tackles. Camden Chance scored the first touchdown of the game for Clyde-Savannah.

Quarterback Roque Santiago completed 8-of-10 passes for 185 yards Canisteo-Greenwood’s opening win. Santiago threw for three touchdowns, Andrew Morning caught a 55-yard touchdown and Hunter McCaffery caught a 33 yard touchdown. Chase Weeks ran for 97 yards and a touchdown. For York/Pavillion, Robert Haberger rushed for 32 yards, and Adam Swede caught four passes for 14 yards. Ethan Tillotson had four solo tackles and James Kennedy had two solo tackles.

For East Rochester, Dion Mather completed 15-of-29 passes for 156 yards. Chauncey Gilbert ran for 42 yards and a touchdown, and Michael Daniels accumulated 61 yards on five carries. Adrian Letta caught six passes for 80 yards alongside a 93 yards kickoff return for a touchdown. Jerry Brongo had four receptions for 38 yards, and Manny Sepulveda hauled in three passes for 25 yards.

Jesse Richards completed 10-of-16 passes including a pair of strikes for touchdowns in a 16-point second quarter when Batavia pulled away. Richards connected with Aiden Anderson on a 45-yard play followed by a 32-yard touchdown reception to Tyler Budzinack. The Blue Devils went on a to take an eventual 30-0 lead. Terez Smith rushed for 125 yards on 25 carries. Smith started the scoring on an 11-yard run in the first quarter. The senior added a 67-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. Jayden Osborne recorded a safety in the second quarter and also scored a touchdown in the fourth. The senior also recorded six tackles. Ethan Loaeaza led Batavia with eight tackles. Budzinack collected five tackles, one interception and made two catches for 38 yards. Alex Hale had an interception for Batavia. Xavier Ross scored both of the BK/RPrep/RACS touchdowns on runs of 30 and 10 yards.
