
HONOLULU – Isaiah Stewart (McQuaid) posted a game-high 26 points to go with 13 rebounds as the University of Washington downed Hawai’i, 72-61 in the Diamond Head Classic, Monday night.
Stewart connected on 13-of-21 shots from the floor in his fourth 20-plus point game performance this season. The double-double was the freshman forward’s fourth straight and sixth of the year.
Stewart scored a career-high 27 points in the Huskies win over Seattle on December 17th. His 15 rebounds against South Dakota on December 2nd stand as high-water mark for caroms collected.
Stewart leads Washington in points (18.8 per game) and rebounds (8.9).
Bishop Kearney’s Nahziah Carter scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds in the game. Carter scores 13.3 per game and has 5.8 rebounds. Read the University of Washington release here.
