Fairport High School hosts the 2019 Section V Class A semifinals. Eastridge is looking to get in position to win its first title since 2013. Canandaigua hasn’t claimed the crown since 2007. How they got here: Eastridge (No. 8 NYSSWA Class A) opened with a 40-35 win over No. 8 seed Brighton. Canandaigua defeated Victor, 24-10, to snap a two-game losing streak in the head-to-head rivalry matchup.

How they got here: East (No. 21 NYSSWA Class A) opened with a 50-8 victory over No. 7 seed Greece Arcadia in a rematch of last year’s quarterfinals. Spencerport held off Wilson Magnet, 35-30, for their first sectional win in program history.

Last time they met: This will be the first meeting between these squads since October 23, 2014. Spencerport won, 42-26.
