Nick Serce struck out nine and allowed just one hit over 6.2 innings of work as Irondequoit (7-3) handed Canandaigua (7-1) its first loss of the season. Serce retired nine straight from the end of the third to the beginning of the sixth until surrendering a one-hit single. The senior walked three batters. Jaleel Davis reached on a fielder’s choice in the seventh and eventually scored on an error. Chad Gartland struck out the only batter he faced to notch the save. At the plate, Serce collected a hit and three walks. Jose Morales had a hit and a walk. Canandaigua’s Mike Sculli struck out 11 and tossed six innings of one-hit ball. The senior left-hander came into the game having thrown back-to-back no hitters.

Dan Tirabassi delivered a two-out, two-run walk-off single in the seventh inning to cap a Rush-Henrietta (3-5) come-from-behind win. Pat Sherron singled to start the frame. Chris Kachala provided a sacrifice bunt. Jett Kopalek reached on a fielder’s choice and went on to score. Bobby Sellers was issued an intentional free pass and eventually came home with the game winner. Chris Sleeper went the distance striking out nine and allowing one run on four hits as R-H snapped a five-game losing streak. Andrew Sanchez finished 2-for-3 for the Royal Comets. Nick Vogt singled and scored the lone Webster Schroeder run in the second inning. Jack Willard, Tommy Winn and Jason Turner had a hit apiece for the Warriors. Willard started and went 6.2 for Schroeder. The senior right-hander struck out three, walked two and allowed two runs on six hits.

CJ Wiest finished 3-for-4 including the go-ahead RBI single in the third inning when Brockport (3-7) sent 11 batters to the plate and scored five runs. Nick Johnson led the frame with a double, moved to third on a fly ball and knotted the game at one when he came home on a wild pitch. Sam Velletri walked. Troy Leibert singled, and Devyn Scheidt also walked to load the bases before Wiest put the Blue Devils ahead. Leibert struck out nine and allowed two unearned runs on four hits over six innings to pick up the win. Leibert and Scheidt both scored two runs. Nick Nealon walked and crossed home. Tanner Frank and Ryan Watson both doubled and scored a run apiece for Brighton (8-1).

Caleb Delly connected on a walk-off triple as Eastridge erased a four-run deficit in its final at-bat. Trailing 13-9, the Lancers sent seven to the plate in the decisive frame. Austin Simone led with a base on balls, and Brendan Brown followed with a double to spark the comeback. Keenan Calenzo, Kyle Egan and Avery Bowens all scored on the winning play. Delly finished 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored also in the game. Brady Booher was 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, an RBI and two runs scored. Brown had two hits in three at bats with a walk, an RBI and three runs scored. Calenzo had two RBI and two runs scored. Egan was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Batavia’ s Griffin Dellapenna finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Alex Hale doubled twice, drove in two and scored twice. Sam Sallome was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Korey Canton drove in the winning run and picked up the victory in relief to lead Odyssey in the Battle of Maiden Lane. Canton doubled home pinch runner Gerald Gaiton for the walk-off win. Jake Mykins led the winning rally with a single. Canton fanned three over two scoreless innings of relief.

Drew HerrNeckar collected two hits, and Jason Story scored twice as Hilton (6-3) built a 4-0 lead after five innings and held off a late Fairport rally. Justin Kuebel started and tossed four shutout innings for the Cadets. Kuebel struck out one, walked five and allowed three hits. Tyler Cerame picked up the save with one inning of work. Dylan Boprey finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. Gavin Moore also scored for Hilton. Jared Drake doubled and scored Fairport’s first run in the sixth inning. Will MacFarlane and Parker Houde worked back-to-back walks to start the seventh and eventually scored on an error. Drake finished 2-for-4 on the day. Aaron Jenks went 2-for-3. Tyler Holmes, Peyton Olinski and Ryan Smith had a hit apiece for Fairport. Brett Heininger came on in relief for the Red Raiders with bases-loaded and one out in the fifth and set down the first two batters he faced before retiring five straight.

Ethan Putney scattered three hits in a complete-game effort. The right-hander struck out eight and walked one. Putney, Jake Carroll, Josh Ferris, John Bagley, Wes Colucci and Joe Wolke had a hit apiece for the Saints. Gates-Chili’s Devin Georgegetti hurled seven innings and struck out three.

Hudson Bockmier struck out 10 and walked one as Mendon improved to 8-2 on the season. Bockmier walked one, allowed three hits and threw 95 pitches in the complete-effort. Bockmier drove in Tyler Procious with a one-out single in the fourth to give the Vikings all the runs they needed. Kyle Hennessey added a pair of insurance runs with a two-out double in the sixth. Cameron Blauvelt walked and scored in the seventh. Zach Janson walked twice and scored a run. Arcadia’s Travers MacNeal finished 2-for-3 on the day. MacNeal allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits over seven innings. Evan Caufield added a single for the Titans.

Caleb Courtemanche struck out six over 6.2 innings to pick up his first win. The junior allowed five hits and did not give up an earned run. Jesse Countryman finished 1-for-2 with an RBI. Nick Hall was 1-for-3 and drove in a run. Pavilion’s Zach Weidrich struck out seven and allowed zero earned runs on two hits over 5.2 innings of work.

A trio of pitchers combined on a no-hitter as Bloomfield improved to 3-2 on the season. Sam Brocklebank allowed two runs without any hits over four innings. Declan Smith allowed one run over two innings of hitless work. Trevor Robinson closed the game with a scoreless seventh. Evan Miller and Trevor Robinson led the offense with two hits and two RBI apiece. Cal Rogers stole three bases and scored four runs.
