Alfred-Almond jumped out to a 4-0 lead and battled the Vikings for the entire first quarter and only trailed 16-11 at the end of one. Prattsburgh (No. 5 NYSSWA Class D) took over in the second quarter, outscoring the Eagles 26-6 behind 15 points from junior Mason Putnam. Putnam scored 24 in the first half and finished with a game-high 32 points and swiped nine steals despite not playing the fourth quarter. Prattsburgh led 42-17 at halftime and 64-31 at end of the third quarter. Sophomore James Crowder scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds-seven of them on the offensive end. He also dished out six assists for the Vikings. Sophomore Kris Johnson chipped in with 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Senior Davon Bloom led Alfred-Almond with 16 points and five blocks. Prattsburgh improves to 7-0 and is off until January 2nd, when they host Naples. Alfred-Almond is now 3-3 and will play Scio in the first round of their Christmas Tournament December 27.
