ROCHESTER, NY – Men’s and women’s hockey season ticket packages for the 2018-19 season will go on sale to the general public July 27 at www.rittickets.com or by calling 585-475-2516. Starting Monday, Aug. 6, single-game, group tickets and flex packs (flex packs in person or phone only) can be purchased online or by calling the Gene Polisseni Center box office at 585-475-4121.

Current season ticket holders will be able to renew their seats starting Monday, July 9, while members of the RIT community (faculty, staff, alumni, students) can purchase new season tickets for the 2018-19 season two weeks later on July 23.

The Tigers play in the 4,300-seat Gene Polisseni Center, located on the south end of campus. Here is the complete 2018-19 RIT men’s hockey schedule. RIT is looking for its third Atlantic Hockey Conference Championship in five years.

Season-ticket holders enjoy great benefits, including 10 percent off hockey merchandise at the SpiRIT store at the Gene Polisseni Center. Season ticket holders also receive exclusive invitations to “Skate with the Tigers,” access to the annual season ticket holder kick-off event, the ability to purchase tickets to playoff games prior to going on sale to the general public, priority status for purchasing 2018-19 season tickets, special deals and promotions.

In honor of RIT’s 50th anniversary of moving to the Henrietta campus, all student season tickets will be $50 (not including club tickets). There will also be five designated games throughout the season with free admission for all RIT students.

In addition, with the purchase of any men’s season ticket, fans are eligible to purchase a RIT women’s hockey season ticket package for just $20. All women’s tickets are free for the RIT community (faculty/staff/alumni/students). The RIT women’s program has won two College Hockey America Championships and will play 16 regular season games and one exhibition contest at the Gene Polisseni Center in 2018-19. Here is the complete 2018-19 RIT women’s hockey schedule.

On Oct. 20, the RIT men will host Colgate University at Blue Cross Arena, the focal point of RIT’s Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend. RIT has drawn sellout crowds of 10,556 fans seven times in the last eight years at Blue Cross Arena, making it one of the most sought-after tickets in Rochester.

Reserved seating is in effect for the Brick City Homecoming game at Blue Cross Arena. All tickets purchased will have a designated section, row and seat number. Please plan appropriately, because tickets and seat arrangements will not be able to be refunded or changed once purchased. Tickets for that game will go on sale in the near future at www.rit.edu/brickcity.

Fans will be able to purchase a full season ticket package with all 17 games played at the Gene Polisseni Center. Please note that the Brick City contest vs. Colgate University at Blue Cross Arena on Oct. 20 is not included in the season ticket price for the season. Fans will be able to purchase separate Blue Cross Arena tickets in addition to their season ticket purchases.

Fans will also have the option to purchase flex packs, which consists of 10 vouchers that fans can use in any combination for any game, based on seat availability. As always, group rates are also available this season. To purchase group seating, please call 585-475-2516 or email Andrew Keller. To receive the group discount, a minimum of 10 tickets must be purchased in advance.
