Cole Penders collected three of seven Brockport home runs in the first game of the doubleheader. Gordon Fisher had two round-trippers while Quinlan Ignaszak and Frank Lauricella added to the hit parade. Ignaszak struck out four over five innings for the win. Athena James Sciortino connected on a 3-run home run in the fifth as the Trojans pulled within two runs at 8-6. Tyler Curtis went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Josh Formicola had two hits and scored two runs. Ryan Ballard added two RBI. Casey Saucke was 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Frank Lauricella paced a 21-hit attack, and Brockport (10-5/7-1) won its fourth straight game. Lauricella homered, drove in four runs and scored four times. Gordon Fisher went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored. Ashton Scott was 3-for-3 with a double, two walks, three RBI and four runs scored. Nicholas Nealon drove in four runs and scored twice with a double and three hits. Dominic Passafiume and Cole Penders added two hits apiece. Troy Leibert struck out seven, walked one and allowed four runs (two earned) on four hits over five innings for the win. Athena’s Anthony Bonacci singled and drove in two runs.

Graham Schild struck out 10 and allowed three runs on eight hits over five and a third innings as Sutherland avenged a loss to their cross-town rivals on Friday. John Messina worked 1.2 innings for the save. Jackson Renica finished 2-for-3 including a go-ahead RBI single in the fourth inning. Layton Cummings went 2-for-3 with two RBI and scored the eventual winning run. Schild went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Davis Heyman had a hit, a walk and an RBI. Jack Bergin collected an RBI and a run scored. Mendon’s Jake Ring finished 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Hudson Bockmier, Jared Petrichick and Jacob Wilson had two hits apiece.

Senior Gage Domuracki won his second game going five innings and giving up three earned runs. Alex Vogt hit two home runs, and Tommy Baxter went 4-for-4 with a home run. Churchville-Chili’s Amaury Samalot went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and three RBI.

Trailing 4-3 in the fifth, Nathan Hueber connected on a 0-1 pitch and plated Mike LoPresti and Colton VanBrederode as Spencerport eventually scored seven unanswered runs. Gino Pellett struck out three over six innings for the win. The sophomore allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits. Kiernan Crowley threw a scoreless seventh. LoPresti and VanBrederode had two hits apiece. LoPresti drove in two and scored one. VanBrederode scored twice and drove in another. Chris Carroll paced a 14-hit attack going 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Greg Ranieri had two hits and a run scored. Pellett collected a hit, a run and an RBI. Arcadia’s Sam Carducci went 2-for-3 including an RBI single in a three-run third when the Titans jumped to a 4-1 lead. Kyle Blum had a double, two RBI and two runs scored.

Senior Jason Lovullo led Olympia from the plate going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Juniors Zach Wright and Cameron Carr each went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Sophomore Mike Matteson also went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Sophomore Joey Alphonse pitched the sixth and seventh inning striking out five for Olympia. Steven Lepki went 2-for-3 with a run scored and RBI for SOTA. Ross Janezic finished 2-for-3 with an RBI. Alfredo Aponte singled and also had an RBI.

Jake Humes struck out two over 2.2 innings in relief to pick up the win. Hunter Mazur started and threw 4.1 and gave four runs (two earned) on five hits. Mazur fanned two and walked two. Sam Sallome went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI. Jordyn Schmidt had a hit and an RBI. Griffin DellaPenna scored a run and collected a hit.

Kyle Pero collected three hits including a walkoff single as Aquinas erased a two-run deficit to win its second straight game. Vinny Mason scored the winning and had two hits including a one-out double to tie the score. Alex Klimasewski struck out five and walked one to earn his first varsity win. The sophomore surrendered eight in a complete-game effort. Trailing 3-1 in the sixth, Mike Altpeter led with a single and scored on a two-out Austin Charland base hit. Trey Brown started the seventh with a walk and scored one out later on Mason’s double. Altpeter went 2-for-2 with a walk. Tyler Szalkowski doubled and walked for the Lil Irish. Gananda’s Tim McClare started and struck out 13 over 5.2 innings. The Canisius College commit doubled and scored a run. Drew Miale had a single, an RBI and scored a run. Zach Ciprich was 2-for-3.

Trevor Robinson struck out 14 and allowed one run over 6.1 innings to pick up the win. Robinson finished 2-for-4 with stolen bases, two runs scored and an RBI. Calvin Rogers had a double, two walks, two stolen bases and a run scored for the Bombers. Bloomfield took a 5-0 lead into the seventh before Marcus Whitman loaded the bases. Bloomfield’s Ben Brocklebank registered a save getting a strike out to end the game with three on board. Marcus Whitman’s Kyle Copper had a hit, two walks, two RBI and a run scored.
