Matt Buss hurled a 3-hitter, and the Red Raiders advanced to Class AA quarter-finals. Buss struck out five and walked one for his fifth win of the season. Fairport struck for six runs in the first inning and never looked back. The first five Red Raiders on the day reached base, and TJ Lucey got Fairport on the board with a two-run single. Lucey was one of four Red Raiders with two hits in the game. Chris Rizzolo finished 3-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored. Fairport (14-7) takes on No. 3 seed McQuaid (15-5) in the quarter-finals.

Danny Chatterton led the offense with two hits and two RBI, and six different pitchers combined on a shutout for the Cadets. Brian Wolf also had two hits. The senior scored twice and drove in a run. Max Hendry added two hits. Hilton will play No. 4 seed Penfield in the quarter-finals on Thursday. Penfield defeated Hilton, 7-1 earlier this season.
No. 7 seed RUSH-HENRIETTA 5 No. 10 seed VICTOR 4
Hunter Barber allowed six hits over 5.2 innings for the win. The right-hander improved to 4-2 on the season. Mitch Hoffower earned the save. Rush-Henrietta (11-10) advances to play the No. 2 seed Webster-Schroeder Warriors (15-5). Webster-Schroeder defeated Rush-Henrietta, 8-6 earlier this season. Victor finished the season 5-5 in league play and 7-14 overall.

Nick Jackson hurled a complete game, and Trevor Layne supplied a go-ahead, two-out double in the fifth. Greece Athena will play No. 1 seed Greece Arcadia on Friday.
No. 7 seed BRIGHTON 4 No. 10 seed SPENCERPORT 2
Trent Wasserman scattered eight hits over seven innings for the win. Jack Falter drove in two runs. Owen Davis added an RBI. Brighton advances to play the No. 2 seed Brockport Blue Devils on Friday.
