The 95th season of St. Bonaventure basketball will open on Saturday, Nov. 15, when Dartmouth will take on the Bonnies in the Reilly Center at 7 p.m. That contest is the first of four straight home games to open the season. The Franciscan Cup will be on the line Tuesday, Nov. 19, when Siena and the Bonnies renew their rivalry; last year, Siena grabbed the Cup with a last-second victory in Albany.
Saturday, Nov. 22, will be another marquee date at the Reilly Center because longtime rival Canisius will visit for a 4 p.m. tip-off. It will be the second year in a row the teams have played in the Reilly Center.
The season-opening home stand wraps up Tuesday, Nov. 25, against Jackson State.
Head coach Mark Schmidt’s club will host its second Big 4 opponent on Dec. 3 when Buffalo visits the Reilly Center for a 7 p.m. start. St. Bonaventure will look to avenge last year’s loss to coach Bobby Hurley’s Bulls at Alumni Arena.
St. Bonaventure’s final home game prior to the start of Atlantic 10 Conference action will be onMonday, Dec. 22, against Maryland-Eastern Shore.
The home schedule also includes one exhibition game, a traditional matchup against NCAA Division II Mansfield (Pa.), on Nov. 8 at the Reilly Center.

The Bonnies’ road non-conference schedule will be announced next week.
St. Bonaventure will return two starters, senior center Youssou Ndoye (right) and senior swingman Andell Cumberbatch, from last year’s 18-15 team. Also returning are key reserves Jordan Gathers and Dion Wright.
