The Billikens host two games at Chaifetz Arena before traveling to Corpus Christi, Texas, for games on Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29, at American Bank Center. Other teams in the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic are Bradley, Mississippi State, TCU, Mississippi Valley State, North Carolina A&T, Radford and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
For the games in Corpus Christi, the Billikens will play in a bracket with Bradley (12-20, 7-11 Missouri Valley), Mississippi State (14-19, 3-15 SEC) and TCU (9-22, 0-18 Big 12). The complete tournament bracket, which will include game matchups, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Last season, Saint Louis went 27-7 and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament. SLU is one of 10 programs in the nation that has won at least one game in each of the last three NCAA Tournaments. Six contributors return from last year’s team, and the Billikens welcome seven newcomers (six freshmen, one eligible transfer). All players are on campus attending summer school and participating in voluntary workouts.
