No. 16/15 Dayton takes on Siena in its third consecutive road game this Saturday, Dec. 22. The 11-0 Flyers will go head-to-head with the 3-5 Saints at 1 p.m. at the Alumni Recreation Center in Loudonville, N.Y. The game will be aired statewide on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel (channels 311 and 1311 HD, as well as on analog channel 99 in southwest Ohio). Talent for the game is Mike Demos (play-by-play), Jackie Craft (analyst) and Chris Onorato (sideline). The game is also available on DaytonFlyers.com with Shane White on the call.
Siena is led by 6-foot-1 senior Lily Grenci who averages13.9 ppg and 8.4 rpg.

– This is the first meeting between Siena and Dayton women’s basketball.
– Current Siena Head Coach Ali Jaques was an assistant coach for Jim Jabir at Dayton from 2005-06.
– Jabir spent three seasons as head coach of the Siena women’s basketball program from 1987-90 where he compiled a 50-29 record before taking over at Marquette.

– Senior Sam MacKay, who earned her first collegiate start in UD’s season opener this year, leads the A-10 in assist/turnover ratio (2.3 with 62 assists to just 27 turnovers). She notched her first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 10 assists against Akron.
– Dayton has won three in-season tournaments and had a different MVP in each: Maggie Dixon Classic (MVP: freshman Amber Deane), Dayton Marriott Classic (MVP: sophomore Ally Malott), Arizona State Classic (MVP: senior Sam MacKay).
