- With the loss, Rhode Island drops to 1-7. Brown improves to 4-4.
- The Rams shot 43.9% from the field, connecting on 18-of-41 attempts while Brown connected at a 45.8% clip (27-59).
- URI held a 34-26 rebounding advantage, marking the fourth time this season that the Rams out-rebound their opponents.
- Nearly half (30-of-66) of Brown’s points were scored off of Rhode Island’s 25 turnovers. The Rams have now turned the ball over 25-or-more times in back-to-back times.
- Rhody netted a season-high 18 free throws, finishing the game 18-of-22 (81.8%) while Brown was just 2-of-4 (50%) from the line.

- Cloutier led all players with a game- and career-high 17 points. She was 9-of-10 from the foul line and also matched her career-best with seven rebounds.
- Corinne Coia finished with a season-high eight rebounds and 12 points in 25 minutes on the floor.
- Whittaker was the third Ram to score in double figures, recording 11 points, four rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist.
- URI has had three double-digit scorers in five of its last seven games.
- Hannah Passafuime (16), Sheila Dixon (16) and Lindsay Nickel (14) all scored in double figures for the Bears.
What’s Next:
Rhody remains in Providence for the second day of competition at the Brown Bear Classic, where it will face Fairfield at 2 p.m. on Sunday. URI is 3-3 all time against the Stags, most recently posting a 52-44 victory last season in Fairfield, Conn. In that game, Kerry Wallack pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds for the Rams, who held the Stags to just 21 second-half points. Head coach Cathy Inglese has a 3-4 career record against Fairfield.
