– With the loss, Rhode Island falls to 1-4. Harvard improves to 1-3.
– Harvard shot 56.7% (17-30) over the first 20 minutes, compared to Rhody’s 27.3% (9-33) performance. However, the Rams came back and outscored the Crimson (35-25) while holding them to 25.8% shooting (8-31) in the second frame.
– After committing nine first-half turnovers, URI only turned the ball over four times in the second half.
– Rhode Island kept Harvard off the board for the first 3:30 of the second half. The Crimson did not make an attempt from the field until the 15:55 mark.

– The loss evens the all-time series between the Rams and Crimson at 7-7.
– Head coach Cathy Inglese, meanwhile, drops to 4-8 all-time against Harvard.

– All 12 players that dressed for URI saw action.

– The Rams have now had three double-digit scorers in each of their last four games. Only once in the last two seasons did the Rams have four consecutive games with three or more players in double figures.
– Rivera (17), Cloutier (11) and Session all scored in double figures for URI.
– Clark (18), Hagedorn (14) and Gordon (10) turned in double-digit scoring performances for Harvard.

Rhody travels to Boston University for a Saturday afternoon night tilt with the Terriers – the third of seven consecutive road games for the Rams. Tip-off at Case Gymnasium is set for 2:00 p.m. Rhode Island is 7-9 in the all-time series vs. BU with the Terriers having won six of the last seven meetings. Last season, Rhody posted a 58-56 win over BU at the Ryan Center. Prior to that, URI’s last win over Boston University was a 82-67 victory on Jan. 22, 1986. Rhode Island has not posted a win over the Terriers in Boston since Jan. 22, 1985. Third-year head coach Cathy Inglese has turned in an 8-9 all-time mark against BU. As the head coach at Vermont, Inglese was 6-8 before going 1-0 at Boston College and 1-1 at URI.
