Crash and Wally Order a BLT To Go

October 1, 2009 by Wally 15 Comments

4-4-5. That's four games, in four cities, over five days. Sept 23-27 were the dates for my recent BLT (Bucket List Trip)  ... a journey that I will fondly remember until Alzheimer’s kicks in.   Mike "Crash" Mergen, the architect of this sports odyssey, had been planning the details for the better part of a year.  The goal was to see several of  his relatives in Illinois and … [Read more...] about Crash and Wally Order a BLT To Go

Mickey, Minnie, Manny & Vlad

August 16, 2009 by Wally 5 Comments

Wally & Fam's excellent summer vacation featured 8 days in SoCal.   If you asked the Fam, the best part of the trip were the 3 days spent at the happiest place on earth with Mickey, Goofy, Pooh and pals.  As you can see, Wally trains the youngsters early to be aggressive when seeking celebrity autographs. The Angels put a pretty good beating on the Tampa Bay … [Read more...] about Mickey, Minnie, Manny & Vlad
