GENESEO, N.Y. — The two teams had met twice in the previous three regional championships, with both teams coming away with a win.
So it was only fitting that Section VI champion, Clarence and Section V’s Churchville-Chili needed extra time and eventually penalty kicks to decide Saturday’s outcome.
Aidyn Barth converted the clinching PK, and Landyn McDermott made the final save as Churchville-Chili (16-1-3) clinched a spot in the NYS Class AA semifinals with a 5-4 advantage in PKs.
