ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Due to inclement weather, Thursday’s contest between the Rochester Red Wings (9-8) and the Buffalo Bisons (8-9) has been postponed.
The two teams will play a seven-inning doubleheader Friday, April 17, beginning at 4:05 p.m. righty Luis Perales will make the start for Rochester in game one, and right-hander Chandler Champlain is scheduled to start game two.
Wings have been plagued by miserable weather so far this season. Announced crowds have been around 2,000. Folks in the stands probably in the hundreds. There hasn’t been one decent turnout yet. That has to be beyond frustrating, considering that after 17 games, they actually have a winning record…something we never saw last year.
