Pickett named G-League Player of the Week

Jalen Pickett (Aquinas) was named the NBA’s G League Player of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Pickett, a member of the Denver Nuggets’ affiliate Grand Rapids, averaged 26.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and nine assists per game between November 8-17. The former Penn State guard has recorded a double-double in three of the first four games of the season.

Pickett was selected 32nd overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. In his first G League season, he averaged a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists per game in seven contests.

At Penn State, Pickett led the Nittany Lions to a Round of 32 appearance and was a Consensus All-American.
