Carraig Jones finished 3-for-5 at the plate, and freshman Jack Niggli struck out six over 4.2 innings to lead Irondequoit in the consolation game of the Webster Classic. Jones had a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in the win. Landon Bryan was 2-for-5 with a triple, three RBI and two runs scored. Jack Bayerl doubled and drove in three. Zachary Haight collected a double of his own to go with a triple. Niggli retired the first 12 batters he faced and allowed two balls out of the infield during that stretch. Irondequoit scored five runs in the first and eventually led 7-0. Colby Mroczek doubled, walked, drove in two and scored another. Alex Kozak was 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored. Mekhi Fortes finished 2-for-3 with a double a run scored for Batavia. Maggio Buchholz singled and drove in a run.
