Rochester native Thomas Bryant was part of the Miami Heat’s starting lineup in two games this past week.
In Miami’s 129-96 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers last Wednesday, the 6’10” center had 10 points, seven boards, a block and a steal in 24 minutes. Bryant had a bucket and a steal in the Heat’s 112-97 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
In the 12 games that Bryant has appeared in so far this season, he has started in three of them. He is currently averaging 5.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Bryant and the Heat (10-7) host the Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA in-season tournament contest today at 7 p.m.
Isaiah Stewart (Detroit Pistons)
Stewart finished with 10 points, six rebounds, a block and two steals in the Pistons’ 136-113 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday.
In Detroit’s 126-107 defeat at the hands of the Washington Wizards on Monday, the Rochester native had seven points, eight boards and a steal.
Through 17 games so far this season, the 6’8″ center is averaging 11.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
Stewart and the Pistons (2-15), currently in a 14-game losing skid, host the Los Angeles Lakers this Wednesday at 7 p.m.
