Anna Varland connected on a first-half goal, and Batavia remained as one of the six unbeaten teams in Section V Girls’ Soccer. Ella Shamp assisted on the goal. Ava Higgins made eight saves for the shutout – her seventh clean sheet of the season. Batavia joins Spencerport, Haverling, Canisteo-Greenwood/Jasper-Troupsburg, Gananda and Fillmore as team without a loss.

Five different players found the back of the net for Geneseo which pulled away from a one-goal game at halftime to win for the fifth time in the past six games. Rachel Matthews started the scoring in the 31st minute with an assist from Lili Weber. Emily Lamb scored 10 minutes into the second half with help from Ali Fowler. Britney Collado-Mendez followed two minutes later with an assist from Maddie Mark. Fowler added a tally of her own with an assist from Lamb. Mark capped the scoring with an unassisted effort. Geneseo held Avon without a shot.

Ava Thayer netted a pair of goals, and Keshequa rebounded from a loss with its sixth win in the past seven games. Thayer scored two minutes into the contest with an assist from Braelyn Isaman. Thayer doubled the advantage eight minutes later, and Kelsey Davis converted on a corner kick for a 3-nil Keshequa lead. Payton Bugman capped the scoring with an assist from Kaylin Fox. Isabella Hugi made six saves for the shutout – her sixth clean sheet of the season. Keshequa had a 34-8 advantage in shots.

Bre Bishop netted four goals, and Cal-Mum won for the fourth time in the past five games. Holly McGinnis added a goal and two assists in the win. Mackenzie Neri and Julia Wasilco had a marker apiece.

Eighth-grader Mya Hayes scored on a breakaway for Dansville. Teammate Emma Butters made four saves.

Mia Gray finished with two goals and four assists while Emma Starowitz added two goals and an assist as Byron-Bergen won its eighth straight game. Elizabeth Starowitz, Victoria Rogoyski, Grace DiQuattro and Mackenzie Hagen each found in the back of the net in the first half as the Bees built a 5-9 advantage. DiQuattro added a second0half goal to go with an assist. Hagen and Tori LaMar also had helpers in the win. Novalee Pocock (4 saves) and Natalie Prinzi (2 saves combined for the shutout – the second straight clean sheet and seventh overall for B-B.

Ava Quintern scored twice to lead Kendall to its third win in the past four games. Megan Gates, Ava LaMay and Sophia Picardo added a goal apiece in the win. Brooke Rodas made 10 saves for the shutout – Kendall’s fifth clean sheet of the season.
