Michael Sardou struck out seven over four innings, and the Churchville-Chili bats put crooked numbers on the board in three separate frames. Sardou surrendered a one-out single in the first and then retired the next seven batters he faced. Anthony Shortino struck out three over two scoreless innings of relief. Drew Stewart retired all three batters he faced in the seventh to close out the game. Braedon Reina reached base four times including a pair of doubles and scored twice to lead the offense. Dom Morsch finished 2-for-3 with a walk. The senior rightfielder/pitcher plated Evan Putney with a one-out double in the second inning. He later scored on a David Damiani sacrifice fly. Jaylen Lopez doubled and scored in the win. Cooper Romich walked twice and scored once. Sarodu singled, drove in a run and scored. Greece Arcadia’s Parker Drees collected a single

Dan Stilson finished with two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored while Sawyer Devoe had two doubles and two RBI to lead Avoca/Prattsburgh which scored eight runs in the first inning. Chris Abbott connected on an RBI double and scored two runs. Catcher Macoy Putnam threw out a runner, had a RBI single and scored. Jamie Reagan, Collin Hammond, Blake McConnell (double, RBI) and Jamel Crowder (two RBI) all contributed to the A/P offense. Haden Abbott struck out eight and walked one to pick up the win. Matt Cater supplied the Genesee Valley/Belfast offense with a two-run home run in the first inning. Evan Turybury tripled and scored on Cater’s blast.. Thai Norsethaporn had an infield single. Garrett Miller struck out the side in the third for Genesee Valley/Belfast.
