Two teams looking for a spot in the NYS Class C Boys’ Regional Qualifier: Lyons and Northstar Christian tip-off Tuesday night looking to advance in the post-season. Here’s the breakdown:

How they arrived here: Northstar Christian beat No. 12 Holley, 89-45 to open the postseason, before defeating No. 4 East Rochester by a score of 50-43 in the quarterfinals and then overcoming top-seeded Rochester Academy, 71-61, in the semifinals. The Knights knocked off second-seeded Avon in the Class C1 championship game. Lyons opened the postseason with an 85-60 victory over C.G. Finney, before beating Warsaw, 70-48. The Lions won their 21st title in program history with a 67-45 triumph over Wheatland-Chili in the C3 championship game.
