McQUAID JESUIT (5-12) 67

Casey Montesano and Chris Woodard combined for 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead McQuaid. Montesano converted on 7-of-7 free throw attempts and connected twice from the floor including a 3-pointer. Woodard added six of his game-high 20 points in the frame. Montesano ended with 19 points on the afternoon. Anthony DiMarco added nine points for the Jesuit Knight. Isaiah Anderson (6), Ian Florence (4), Ian Metcalfe (4), Jaiyden Jones (3) and Nikki Yudin (2) rounded out the scoring for McQuaid. Victor’s Garrett Clar scored 12 of his team-high 16 points in the second half including four in the third quarter when the Blue Devils pulled within three at 43-40. Teammate Nick Leonard added 14, and Cam Ryan had 11. Brennen Hopkins (8), Owen Dake (4), AJ Queri (3), Griffen Hopkins (2) and Ryan Dodge (1) also scored for Victor.

SPENCERPORT (7-11) 77 OT

Jeremy Tantalo connected on a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of overtime to lift Gates to its second win in three games. Ninth-grader Joey Vigerzi led the Spartans with 24 points while Kani Mitchem had 23.  Brandon Randolph added 18 while Tantalo’s late triple brought his total to eight for the game.  Jon Vance (4) and Tremier Lewis (2) rounded out the scoring for the Spartans. Bryon Streb paced Spencerport with 27 while younger brother, Hunter Streb had 17. Kyle Milburn finished with 11 points while Antonio Diaz scored nine.  Marquis Tubbs (8), Ty Heaton (3) and Miron Gurman (2) also scored for the Rangers.

Maddox Timothy scored 21, and Joe Bauer added 19 for York which took a 47-11 lead into halftime and went on to win a fourth consecutive game. Ryan Brady accounted for eight points in the win. Pavilion’s Colton Dziekan scored 23 of his game-high 30 in the second half. Zach Tillotson finished with eight for the Golden Gophers.

“We played terrific defensively in the first half,” said York head coach Ed Orman, Jr. “I couldn’t be prouder of the effort and execution to start the game. Hopefully we can continue to grow and get better on both ends of the court as sectional time is right on the horizon.”

MARCUS WHITMAN (8-9) 65

Brody Royston finished with a game-high 21 points to lead Marcus Whitman. The sophomore guard connected on a trio of triples and converted 10-of-12 free throws in the win. Teammate Connor Gorton added 18 points, and Myles Prendergast had nine points. Tariku Blue (7), Logan Storms (6) and Bryce Tomion (4) rounded out the scoring for Whitman which took a six-point lead into the fourth quarter before pulling away for the double-digit win. Tanyon Dunning led Penn Yan with 13 points. Liam Chapman had 10. Jaxson Enos (9), Matthew Tones (8), Ashtian Dunning (8) and Carson Nagpaul (6) also scored for the Mustangs.

CAMPELL-SAVONA (1-16) 53
DUNDEE/BRADFORD (11-8) 64

Nick Slavick finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, as Dundee/Bradford rebounded from a loss for its fourth win in the past five games. Logan Buchanan added 11 points in the win while Ryan McTamney had nine points and five assists. Gabe Stiles accounted for seven points and six steals. Dylan Monell (6) and Miguel Candela (5) rounded out the scoring for Dundee/Bradford.
