Canisius announces schedule update for Monday, January 2nd

On Saturday, Canisius, Niagara and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the following schedule updates for men’s basketball games scheduled to be played on Monday, Jan. 2.

Due to continuing clean-up efforts in and around the Canisius campus, the decision has been made to move the Golden Griffins’ men’s basketball game against Mount St. Mary’s on Monday, Jan. 2 to Niagara’s Gallagher Center in Lewiston, N.Y., setting up a men’s basketball doubleheader with Niagara and Rider. The Niagara – Rider game will tip-off at noon, followed by the Canisius – Mount St. Mary’s game, scheduled for 3 p.m. Both of Monday’s contests will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

Season ticket holders for Canisius and Niagara will have their tickets for the Jan. 2 (previously Jan. 1) games honored at the Gallagher Center on Monday afternoon, and one ticket is good for admission to both contests.
