Ninth-grader Rhylin Fehrenbach finished with a game-high 12 points in her first appearance of the season after being injured. Teammates Devin Livingston added 10, and Hope Stone had nine points for Victor which which led 29-13 at halftime. Shaye Angelo and Clare Ruff scored nine points apiece for HF-L which used a 17-8 advantage in the third quarter to pull within single digits heading into the fourth quarter.

Sydney Postell scored 32 points, and Katherine Draper added eight to lead Churchville-Chili to back-to-back wins. Emma Healy and Haley Leonard accounted for four points apiece. Kylie Romich contributed a free throw. Brighton’s Sadie Scott posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Olivia Rush had seven points and four rebounds. Nora Smith contributed six points and eight steals. Katie Hardie (6), Ireland Mistretta (5) and Avery Hopkin (2) also scored for the Bruins.

Jordan Dyring scored 18 points, and Selena Maldonado added 15 for Hornell which jumped to a 20-7 lead after one quarter and went on to win for the second time in three games. Lillian Hoyt had eight points for the Red Raiders which had seven players contribute to the scoring. Abby Allen led Le Roy with nine points, four rebounds and three assists. Lindsey Steffenilla had eight points and seven rebounds. Kenna MacKenzie (7), Corinna Dunn (5), Maura Dambra (5) and Rachel Smith (3) rounded out the scoring for Le Roy.
“Selena Maldonado played her best all-around game as a varsity player tonight,” Hornell head coach Brian Dyring said. “Her speed sparked our transition game and she’s starting to see the floor better and making quick good decisions. She’s really starting to grow as a point guard, and it’s exciting to see.”

Tournament MVP Lily Carroll finished with 13 points, four steals and four rebounds to lead Marcus Whitman to the championship of the Avoca-Prattsburgh Girls’ Tournament. Teammate Aurora Woodworth earned All-Tournament honors with eight points, five steals, five assists and five rebounds. Natalie Cotroneo also was named to the All-Tournament team with seven points, three steals, three assists. Katie Bootes had five points, three steals and three rebounds in the win. Sophie Snyder (4), Tori Brooks (4), Olivia Herod (3) and Aliysiah Clark (2) rounded out the scoring for Marcus Whitman.

Chloe Scott led three in double figures with 17 points, and South Seneca won for the fourth time in five games. The sophomore connected seven times from the floor including once from behind the 3-point arc. Ciera Babcock added 13 points while Ava Utter had 12. Haley Parry (8), Karah Hill (4) and Alysa Elder (4) rounded out the scoring for the Falcons. Hannah Sullivan led Romulus with seven points. Charlotte Slentz had two points, and Andrea Teed converted a free throw.
