Faiport’s Zac Ditzel posted double-digit numbers in split week. Jon McCaffrey led Webster Schroeder to two victories. Everett Wilcox stuffed the stat sheet in a Pittsford Sutherland wins, and Jalonie Pittman paced Eastridge in two games. The four were named Player of the Week (December 18th-24th) for their respective divisions as announced by Monroe County coaches.
Ditzel averaged 19 points on 56 percent shooting over two games to earn Monroe County Division I Player of the Week (POTW). The senior guard connected on 8-of-14 from the floor in a 59-52 win over Hilton. Ditzel grabbed six rebounds and handed out two assists in the contest. He turned in a 19-point performance and shot 7-of-13 in a loss to Thomas. Ditzel also collected eight boards in the contest.

McCaffrey averaged 14 points on 52-percent shooting in a pair of win to nab DII POTW. The senior forward scored 16 points in a 62-40 win over Gates Chili and accounted for 12 points in a 58-50 victory over Rush-Henrietta. McCaffrey also averaged two assists, two steals and a block in the pair of wins.
Wilcox, the Division III POTW, finished with six points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 60-58 win over Batavia. The senior guard followed that with 16 points, four rebounds and five assists without a turnover in a 73-70 win over Pittsford Mendon in the annual Rainbow Classic. Wilcox scored 13 in the second half as the Knights rallied from seven down to beat their crosstown rivals.

Pittman averaged 18.5 points in two game to earn Division IV Player of the Week including a season-high 21 points in an 81-60 divisional win over Greece Olympia. Pittman scored 17 points in the second half to help the Lancers (4-3) pull away for their fourth win of the season. The junior guard also averaged 9.5 rebounds, four steals and 2.5 assists.
