Davijon Lipscomb scored 26 points and Tyler Bethea added 18, but Edison could not overcome an early deficit. Lipscomb connected seven times from the floor and converted 11-of-14 from the free throw line. The junior guard accounted for 11 points in the fourth quarter as the Inventors attempted to erase a five-point deficit (50-45) heading into the final eight minutes of play. Chris Taggaart had six points. Jabari Johnson and Jearney Higdon scored five points apiece. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak. Amauri Truax led Horseheads with 26 points. Jack Fesetch chipped in with 11 points.

Eric Hillsman followed a triple-double effort on Saturday with 24 points and 15 rebounds as Bishop Kearney won for the second time in three games. Hillsman connected five times from the floor in the first quarter when Kearney sprinted to a 33-14 lead. Hillsman also handed out five assists in the win. Russell Ellis finished with 17points and four assists in the win. Collin Gentile had 15 points, five rebounds and five assists. Jahmez Reaves added nine points, five assists and six rebounds. Zidean Henry had nine points and three rebounds. Hillsman had 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks in Saturday’s game against Horseheads (VI). Michael Jackson scored 17 points to lead East. Teammate Ronjai White added 13 points.
