CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Community College women’s basketball was home today, December 3rd for a conference matchup with the SUNY Jefferson Cannoneers on the Putt Moore Court. The Cannoneers would come out on top in the conference matchup, 86-29.
Lakers freshman Allaysha Grady (Sodus, N.Y./ Sodus) led the team in the scoring column with nine points to go along with her three rebounds and 1 steal. Teammate Izzy Robson (Newark, N.Y./ Newark) followed up as the Lakers next scorer with five. Robson dished out two assists and pulled in four rebounds to round out her afternoon.
Freshman Natalie Edmister (Watkins Glen, N.Y./ Watkins Glen) added four points, three rebounds, and one assist to her tally, while teammate Mikaylah Pocock (Bergen, N.Y./ Byron Bergen) finished two points, three rebounds, and two assists.
The loss drops the teams record to 0-9 on the season, with their next opportunity for a win coming on Monday, December 5th at 5:30 PM against Erie Community College.
