Mathuc opened the second half by netting two straight goals off assists by Brandon Pritchard and Peter Burslem to tie the game at 3-all. The junior scored once more with an unassisted marker to close the scoring. Owen Smith scored the go-ahead tally off a helper by Zachary Zollo. Nolan Dudley found the back of the net in the first half. Burslem assisted on the goal. For Batavia, Owen Halpin scored with a shot from 25 yards, and followed by converting on a penalty-kick to complete a three-goal first half. Andrew Childs netted a rebound off Dima Havens’ shot for Batavia’s first tally. Alexander Bartz had an assist.

Jack Emo scored two goals in a four-goal second half to lead Hornell to its sixth consecutive victory. Emo opened the half with a strike off an assist by Cody Cardamone, and netted Shawn Rose’s helper for his 14th goal of the season. Wyatt Argentieri scored the final tally, and collected an assist on Mason Terwilliger strike earlier in the half. Liam Khork had an assist. Davin Oyer made two saves to secure the shutout. Hornell has five shutouts victories this season and have outscored its opponents 34 to 4.
