Olivia Verossi crossed home twice including the go-ahead run in the sixth inning as Sutherland rallied for its third straight win. Trailing 4-3, Julia Hunt led the sixth with a single. Alexandra Sippel doubled, and Hannah Glanton tied the game with a sacrifice. Verossi came on as a courtesy runner and scored the eventual game winner. Maddy Ward struck out four and allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits and two walks in a complete-game effort to pick up the win. Hunt and Sippel both finished 2-for-3 with a run scored. Sippel added a walk and an RBI. Riley Gonzalez doubled twice, drove in two runs and scored another. Addison Bernas went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored. Julianna Lyons doubled, scored and drove in a run. Gabriella Lyons singled and scored. Tia Lehtonen walked twice and scored a run. Batavia’s Giana Mruczek went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Libby Grazioplene doubled, walked and drove in two runs. Hannah Carney finished 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Alexa Briggs finished 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored to lead Churchville. Isabella Neu and Grace Stella both went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the win. Stella also scored. Alyssa Chesher doubled, walked and scored twice. Bailey DiGiacomo struck out six batters for the win. Gates-Chili’s Emily McManus doubled, homered, drove in three runs and scored twice. Hannah Brown and Abby Unson both collected two hits in three at-bats and scored two runs. Deanna Georgetti was 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Lily Goldberg struck out 13 and used 65 pitches to hurl a 2-hitter as Mendon won its third straight game. Goldberg and Mary Ciaccio connected on run-scoring hits. Maddie Fallows and Lilly Hajec also had hits in the game. Taylor Albert, Megan Clark and Clare Magee collected a hit apiece for the Patriots.

Ninth-grader Kadyn Hartel struck out 12 and allowed two runs on six hits and three walks as Rush-Henrietta won for the fourth time in the past five games. Hartel also finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a walk and two runs scored. Olivia Sheffer went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the win. Katie Militello was 2-for-4, reached base three times and scored a run. Carly Sobaszek singled, reached base three times and scored a run and drove in two. Elizabeth Gleghorn was 3-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base. Sami Williams singled and collected an RBI. Penfield’s Lynn Clark was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Nadia Zach singled, walked and scored twice.

Emerson Broomfield struck out nine and did not allow an earned run as Canandaigua won for the fifth time in the past six games. Ariana Buchiere singled, drove in a run and crossed home three times in the win. Kathryn Cywinski finished 2-for-4 with a run scored. Greece’s Ally Ray Schumacher and Skylar Zapata both went 2-for-4 at the plate. Schumacher and Lynia Thomas scored for Greece.

Marlayna Cartagena struck out nine and and connected on an RBI double at the plate as Irondequoit avenged an earlier loss to the reigning Class A1 champions. Emma Rovet doubled and drove in a run. Abby Ras had two RBI and Kailey Besio scored three and drove in two runs.
