Braden Consaul hurled a complete game for the Red Raiders, as he struck out 11 batters, walking three, and allowing four earned runs. Junior, Scott Thompson went 3-for-3, with 3 runs and 2 stolen bases. James Stanek had two hits and three RBI. Julien Mendoza added three hits in the win. For Rush, senior Tobey Wright struck out eight batters, through six innings, also going 2-for-4 at the plate. Connor Nguyen had a 2-run home run. Evan Brock tallied two RBI, in a 2-for-4 performance.

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (11-3) 1
Brody Froman connected on a 2-run home run to left field in the top of the third inning, scoring Max Spitz, giving the Eagles their third straight win. Spitz singled to left to open the inning. Gio Cassetta recorded the victory, through a 4.1 inning outing, where he struck out two and allowed. Leo Tellier came on in relief to record the final two outs of the fifth inning, retiring six straight batters, striking out three of the nine batters he faced. Churchville’s, Zachary Miner capped of a three-straight single rally, lining the first pitch he saw to left field, to score Kaleb Cieslinski. Senior, Daniel Derleth pitched the complete game for the Saints, striking out 10 batters, and allowing three hits and one walk.

Preston Prince hurled four innings and improved to 3-0 on the season as Hilton claimed the Monroe County Division I title with its fifth straight win. Carter Clark tossed three innings for the save. Clark followed up a Michael Whelehan double in the bottom of the third inning, with a 2-2 RBI-single. Clark scored a batter later, courtesy of a line drive, RBI-single to center, off the bat of Luke Schofield. Whelehan had three total hits, including two doubles, and a stolen base. Jeffrey Broadnax, Brady Gerig and James Capellupo collected a single apiece for Hilton. Patriots starter, Tommy DiFranco struck out two batters, through six innings, adding a hit at the plate. Penfield’s only run came off an Aiden Cook single, that brought home Alex Young, who walked to open the fourth inning.

CANANDAIGUA (7-7) 3 (8 innings)
Sam Bement capped off a three-RBI day with a walk-off single as Canandaigua avenged a loss from earlier in the week. Bement connected on a two-out single to center field to bring home Samuel Boock with the winning run. The inning started with two quick ground outs, and the next seven pitches resulted in a hit batter and a walk. Bement also had a 2-run homer in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game at 2-2. AJ DeBalso had two hits. Matthew Papenfuss completed the game on the mound, striking out four batters, allowing one earned run, on 107 pitches thrown. Mendon’s two runs came in the early frame of the fourth, as Brendon Kane scored off a ground-out, RBI by Colden Forney. Daniel Palumbo, who doubled in the inning, took advantage of an error to score the tying run. Zach Young had two hits in the loss.

Austin D’Ettore led a 12-hit Spartan performance going 3-for-5, with six RBI including a bases-clearing triple to start off a 12-run third inning. Later in the frame, the junior lined a two-run single to center. James Connelley pitched the complete game, throwing 119 total pitches, striking out 12 batters, allowing 10 hits, one walk, and one earned run. Connelley scored twice, adding a hit and two RBI. Vincent Lucyszyn had three hits, one stolen base, and scored three times, including two singles in the third. Angelo Morales went 3-for-3, with an RBI, two runs, and a stolen base. For Greece Odyssey, Ty VanEpps hit a two-out, RBI-double in the first to open the scoring. VanEpps tallied two hits. Nolan Krautwurst scored the only run for his team, in a three hit effort.

Mike Salina struck out eight batters, allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run, through 6 innings on the mound to lead Webster Schroeder. Tyler Stack had 2 hits, and 2 RBI. Salina and Luke Kelly both added one RBI apiece. Senior, Matt Salina recorded the save. For Victor, Junior, Carter Fink struck out 7 batters, through 5.2 innings.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (9-5) 3
Brockport’s, Cooper Hassall earned the win on the mound, striking out eight batters, and only allowing two hits, through five scoreless innings. Hassall also went 2-for-4 at the plate, with an RBI-single and a run scored, in a five-run fourth inning. That was the only hit in the inning for Brockport, as benefitted from five walks, and one hit batter. Sutherland’s three runs came in the bottom of the seventh, featuring a one out, RBI-single by Tyler Mullin with the bases loaded. Back-to-back batters were hit by the pitch, forcing home the final two runs. Jacob Cole was able to work out of a jam, forcing a ground ball to end the game.

Aleks Englert hit a tie-breaking RBI-triple in the top of the ninth, off a 2-1 pitch to lift Athena. Jaden Madrid came home on the play, after opening the inning on a double to centerfield. One batter later, Sammy Saucke laid down a sacrifice squeeze bunt, to score Englert from third for the insurance run. Madrid went 3-for-5, scoring 2 runs, and an RBI. Englert totaled 2 hits. For the Cougars, Louis Laviani was 2-for-4, with 3 RBI, and a run. Xavier Carbonel was 2-for-2, with 2 RBI and a run scored.

In the completion of a suspended game, Justin Rodriguez finished a home run shy of the cycle going 3-for-4 with a walk. The senior alos struck out eight in a complete-game effort on the mound. Abel Austin went 2-for-4 while Dale Janezic was 2-for-2 with a walk. Bennie Laver singled and doubled in the win. Paul Stevens was 3-for-4 and Pedro Lebron had a hit in both trips to the plate.

Justin Rodriguez continued his day with a six-RBI performance connecting on a grand slam, a single and a double while going 3-for-4. Abel Austin was 3-for-5 in the win. Dale Janezic singled, doubled, went 2-for-3 and reached on an error. Henry Hawkins was 3-for-3 with a double and a walk. Bennie Laver had a hit and two walks while Paul Stevenson was 3-for-3 with a double.

Gabe Ward pitched the complete outing, striking out 14, allowing only 4 hits. At the plate, he added a double and a triple, going 2-for-4. Tristan Caspersson had a double, and 2 RBI. Breadon Smith went 2-for-4. For Honeoye, Junior, Evan Cuba led the way, going 2-for-3.

Kyle Kumkey and Nathan Laird both singled and drove in a run to lead Midlakes. John Deboover doubled and scored for the Screaming Eagles. Anthony Cooper and Ryan Spooner had a single and run scored apiece. Laird went the distance striking out nine and allowing two runs on six hits and two walks. Gananda’s Andrew Gleason finished 2-for-2 on the day with a double. Henry Shutts struck out seven without issuing a walk in a complete-game effort. The eighth-grader allowed three unearned runs on six hits.

Logan Bulman faced 31 batters, striking out 14, walking 3, allowing two runs on 2 hits, on his way to recording a win. He had a hit in the eighth and scored. Sodus broke through a 2-2 tie in the top of the ninth, Brayden Orbaker drew a walk, bringing home Jacob Laird for the go-ahead run. Next at-bat, Evan Laird singled on a 0-2 count, bringing around Jed Bodine, to take a two-run lead. Orbaker came on for the save in the bottom of the inning, striking out one of the final four batters. Orbaker finished with 2 RBI, the first coming off an infield ground-out in the second inning.

Tyler Morse recorded a complete-game shutout, striking out 6 batters, allowing only 2 hits and 3 walks. Morse went 1-for-2 at the plate, picking up an RBI, 1 stolen base , and 2 runs. Tim Vos went 2-for-3, with a double, 2 runs and an RBI. Matt Jackson had a hit, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Matt DeFisher finished 1-for-3, with a double, a run scored, and an RBI. Blake Giglio added 2 RBI. For Lyons, Mike Briggs and Anthony Hartwell each had hits.

Palmyra-Macedon starter, Chris Finocchario, Jr. rolled through the first three innings of Thursday’s Fingers Lakes East matchup. Zachary Herd delivered a complete game on the hill, striking out 7 batters. At the plate, Herd went 2-for-4, with 2 singles. Waterloo pitchers, Alexander Rodgers and Hayden Linehan combined for 8 strikeouts. Waterloo’s Dylan Bienvenue finished 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Jake Cappotelli led the way offensively, recording 3 hits in his 4 at-bats, with 2 stolen bases, and 3 runs scored. Casey Decker had 2 RBI, off 2 hits, scoring 3 times, and stealing 3 bases.

Colton Yasses and Brayden Smith combined on the mound to only allow one hit, and strikeout six batters for the Hornets. Gaige Armbrewster went 3-for-3 at the plate, stealing three bases, and scoring once. Ethan Cramer finished 1-for-3, with 2 RBI. The entire lineup each had a hit, and at least a run scored. Oakfield rallied for six runs in the top of the first. For Pembroke, Chase Guzdek had a hit, while Owen Hootman and Tayden Bridge had an RBI apiece.

Tied at 11, the Li’l Irish rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth, to fend off the comeback. Caleb Wilson fought off a 1-2 pitch, on a liner to right for the go-ahead run, bringing Will Scanlon home to score, off an RBI-double. Now with two outs, CJ Mangone recorded a 2-RBI triple to centerfield, to score Wilson. Tre’ Walker got the winning RBI off a RBI-single, scoring Mangone. Walker finished 2-for-4, with 3 RBI, 2 runs and a stolen base. Wilson went 3-for-3, with 3 runs and 2 RBI. Scanlon stole 4 bases and scored 3 runs along the base path, also recording a hit and an RBI. For Wayne, Lucas Kielon had a 2-RBI triple, that headlined an eight-run top of the fourth, finishing with Wayne ahead 10 to 8. Tyler Mudge had 2 RBI, 1 hit and 1 run.
