Connor Osier paced a 12-hit attack going 3-for-4 on the day with a home run and two-run single to start the scoring for Athena in the third inning. The sophomore also scored a run in the win. Aleks Englert finished 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run scored. TJ Kurtz drove in two runs with a hit and later scored while Jaden Madrid collected a hit, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. Riley Catena was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs scored. Evan Smith allowed an unearned run on two hits and two walks over four innings to register the win. The senior struck out one and also scored two runs. Jayden Rapp did not allow an earned run over three innings to close out the game. Matt Tallini went 1-for-3 with a run scored. Nick Teresi singled and drove in a run. Spencerport’s Frank Grad and Shaun Cannon singled and scored a run apiece. Scott Zyra finished 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI for the Rangers. Zach Lamberton walked and scored a run.

Robert Brown finished 2-for-3 on the day and led back-to-back innings with hits as the Cougars scored five unanswered to finish the game. Brown singled and later scored on Aaron Neenan sacrifice fly to snap a 1-1 tie in the fifth when HF-L scored three times. The junior outfielder doubled and eventually stole home in a two-run sixth. Xavier Carbonel started and struck out five over four innings of work. Nathan Weber tossed three scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. At the plate, Carbonel went 3-for-4 with a run scored. NOlan Smith doubled, drove in a run and walked. Michael Principe collected a single, two stolen bases, an RBI and two runs scored. Brockport’s Bryce Tyndell started and struck out eight over four innings of work. The senior right-hander allowed one run on two hits and a walk. He struck out the side in order in the first and retired the first eight faced and 10 of 11.

Junior right-hander Jack Cannon struck out three over six innings, and Schroeder sent 10 to the plate in a six-run third to win for the second time in as many outings. Cannon finished 2-for-3 at the plate and scored three times. Luke Pagano and Mike Salina drove in two runs apiece. Penfield’s Tommy DiFranco finished 3-for-4 with a run scored. Alex Young was 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Connor Springer struck out six over five innings, and the Irondequoit offense collected 10 hits in the win. Springer allowed one run on three hits and three walks. The senior right-hander retired seven of eight from the end of the first through the third. Springer was one of four Eagles with two hits in the game. His two-out single drove in Brody Froman to cap a three-run second. Irondequoit sent eight to the plate and scored three more in the fourth. Springer finished 2-for-5 with two RBI. Connor Gresens went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two RBI. Carraig Jones was 2-for-4 with a run scored while Brian Tisa had a pair of hit and crossed home once. Froman collected a hit, an RBI three walks and three runs scored. Sam Lessard had a walk, run scored and an RBI while Zachary Haight scored twice. Froman struck out two over two scoreless innings of relief. Tommy Rebis tripled and drove in the lone Olympia/Odyssey run. Josh Tantalo and Dominic Braun collected a hit apiece for the Griffins.

Sophomore Shane Talbot struck out two and scattered four hits over five innings to pick up his first varsity win. James Bolton, Garett Wilson, and Nate Zicari collected two hits apiece for the Titans while Josh Butka had an RBI single. Alex Dungey also contributed with a hit. Nate Hill had two RBI, including a sacrifice fly. Gates-Chili’s Zachary Antinelli and Alan Henry both had two hits. Charles Healey drove in a run with a single.

James Capellupo and Carter Clark combined on the shutout as Hilton pitchers have tossed 13 consecutive scoreless innings. Capellupo started and struck out nine. Clark fanned two over two innings of work. Clark started the scoring when he plated Capellupo with a two-run home run in the first. Capellupo later doubled and drove in a run. Michael Whelehan went 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, an RBI and two runs scored. Brady Gerig, Joe Sanna and Luke Schofield each had a hit and a run scored. Michael Heise drove in a run with a hit and also scored for the Cadets. Joe Grzeskowiak walked and stole a base for R-H.

Sophomore starter Paul Byrne struck out eight and scattered three hits over five shutout innings of work to lead Sutherland. Byrne retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced and led the fourth with a single, as the Knights trotted nine to the plate and scored five runs in the frame. Alex Renzi drove in two runs with a one-out single to highlight the surge. Jacob Fekete later brought in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Noah Littlefield scored Jack Zawacki with an infield single. Tyler Mullin collected a hit, an RBI and two runs scored. Renzi scored two runs in the game. Byrne was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Jack Armanini walked three times and scored a run. Cole Mann had a hit and an RBI. Fekete struck out two and faced the minimum in one inning of relief work. Eastridge’s Connor Welch drove in a run with a single. Evan Bishop, Evan Brown, Ryan Greenhagen and Evan Vinci each collected a hit, walk and a run scored.

Evan Putney, Michael Sardou and Kaleb Cieslinski connected on a back-to-back-back one-out singles to spark a six-run fourth as Churchville jumped out to an 8-0 lead. Braedon Reina doubled home a run later in the frame and eventually scored on a fielder’s choice. Reina finished the game with two walks, two RBI and two runs scored. Justin Meister went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Joshua Campbell walked twice and scored twice. Brighton’s Ellis Einbinder went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and walk. The senior centerfielder collected four RBI and a run scored. AJ Marcella was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Jackson Heider, Matt Howe and Nickolas Martinez had a hit, RBI and run scored apiece. Benjamin Comeau singled, walked twice and scored a run.

Connor Sackett drove in Julien Mendoza with a walk-off single as Fairport outlasted Victor in Monroe County Division I action. Mendoza finished 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Will Stanek struck out three over five scoreless innings to pick up his first varsity win. James Stanek went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored. Braden Consaul started a struck out seven over three innings of work. Fairport threw out a pair of runners at the plate. Victor’s Max Friedlander struck out three over seven innings. Weston Elkovitch had two RBI for the Blue Devils.

AJ DeBalso, Josh Barnes and Kenyon Mahoney combined for six hits, six RBI and six runs from the top of the order to lead Canandaigua. DeBalso finished 2-for-2 including a leadoff single to start the game. The senior came around to score and give Canandaigua a lead it did not surrender. DeBalso later doubled, walked and scored three runs in the game. Barnes went 2-for-2 with three RBI and a run scored. Mahoney was 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Mahoney started and allowed one unearned run on one hit and four walks. DeBalso tossed a scoreless inning of relief. Silas Taylor finished 3-for-3 with three runs scored. Aaron Crunick doubled and drove in two runs. Arcadia’s Dominic Zona finished 1-for-3. Aidan Candelaria scored the Titans’ run.

Jesse Reinhart had a single and a run scored for Batavia. Teammate Mekhi Fortes finished 2-for-4. Aidan Anderson and Alex Johnson both went 1-for-3 with a run scored. Evan Laird’s two-out single sparked a seven-run second inning to lead Sodus. Laird was the first of seven straight Sodus batters to reach base. Logan Bulman followed with an RBI single. Jacob Laird drove in two with a double. Jed Bodine walked and eventually scored. Brady McCarthy singled and walked in the decisive frame. Bulman finished 2-for-4 with three runs scored in the game. Braeden Tuper was 3-for-4 with a double, two stolen bases and four runs scored. Jacob Laird went 3-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored. Bodine walked twice, drove in two runs with a double and scored two runs. McCarthy finished 3-for-4. Evan Laird went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Bulman started and struck out three over three innings to register the win.

AJ Brotz sparked a three-run sixth inning with a two-out triple. Brotz also walked, stole a base and scored three runs in the game. Gavin Buckley followed Brotz with a two-run double. Buckley had three RBI. Ethan Brotz brought in a run with a single. Owen Smith hurled a 1-2-3 seventh to finish off the win. Livonia’s Brady O’Keefe went 2-for-3 with a walk. Landon Danaher and Wyatt Karnuth combined to strike out 17 batters to lead Bolivar-Richburg. Danaher started and fanned 10 over four innings. The senior right-hander allowed an unearned run on one hit and two walks. Karnuth struck out seven of the 11 batters he faced over three hitless innings. Danaher went 2-for-4 with a double, three stolen bases, an RBI and two runs scored at the plate. Karnuth had a hit, a walk and three runs scored. Trey Buchholz collected a hit, RBI, stolen base, walk and a run scored. Reiss Gaines went 1-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases and two runs scored. Camdyn MacDonell doubled in a run. Ray Schumacher finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Athena/Olympia/Odyssey which rallied on separate occasions in the game to erase deficits. Macy Vetter added a triple and two doubles in the winning effort. Aleksa Lelis and Riley Brick scored two runs apiece. Jessica Hartman and Skylar Zapata each had an RBI. Ashlee Laemlein doubled and drove in two runs. Arcadia’s Carly Cegielski connected on a three-run home run in the seventh.
