
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After a two-year hiatus, the Greater Rochester Ronald McDonald House Senior All-Stars took the court Saturday at Rush-Henrietta High School. Rosters made up of 57 boys and girls from Section V Basketball along with 18 cheerleaders participated in front of families and friends.
Kaia Goode (Bishop Kearney) and Anaya Coleman (Pittsford Mendon) earned Most Valuable Player honors in the girls’ game in which Red defeated Gold, 86-77.
Myles Blackwood (Aquinas) and Emmanuel Leftenant (Eastridge) nabbed MVP honors in the boys’ game.

The annual event had been postponed for the past two seasons due to precautions surrounding Covid-19.
Originating in 1986, the Greater Rochester Ronald McDonald House All-Star Game has raised more than $350,000 through the years.
