The Section V Class AA boys’ bracket features five Monroe County teams, three RCAC squads and two more from the Private-Parochial League. The tournament opens with two first-round games on Tuesday. Here’s the breakdown:
No. 1 seed VICTOR BLUE DEVILS (Monroe County Division I)

Finish last season: Lost to Gates-Chili in the Class AA championship game.

No. 2 seed AQUINAS LI’L IRISH (Private-Parochial I)
Record: 16-3

Streak: Won four straight and 12 of 13.
Scoring offense: 76.6 PPG
Scoring defense: 55.6 PAPG
Finish last season: Fell to Gates-Chili in the Class AA semi-finals, 79-68.
Opponent: Winner of No. 7 and No. 10 Franklin. Game scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip off at Aquinas on February 25th.
