GIRLS

FAIRPORT 4
BRIGHTON 3
Erika Yancey connected on the game winner as Fairport (7-8-0) won its third straight game to close the regular season. Isabella Pucci collected three assists in the contest including the helper on Yancey’s marker. Katie Diem scored and assisted on another goal to spark a Red Raiders’ comeback. Trailing 2-0, Andrea Wilson got Fairport on the scoreboard in the final minute before halftime. Diem set up Abigail Schaeber with the equalizer three minutes into the second half, and then gave Fairport its first lead one minute later. The win overshadowed a three-goal effort from Brighton’s Maggie Cregan. The junior midfielder, who has 26 tallies on the season, opened the scoring in the 17th minute and doubled the advantage eight minutes later. Cregan’s unassisted effort leveled the match in the 48th minute. Pauny Khounpachmsy and Meredith Reynolds added an assist apiece.

RUSH-HENRIETTA 2
CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 1
Avery Roberts connected on an unassisted effort in the 75th minute, and Rush-Henrietta (6-8-2) won its second in three games. Alivia Day started the scoring for the Royal Comets before Riley Cullen leveled the match for Churchville. Addison McDonough assisted Cullen’s goal. Eva DiDomenico made 13 saves for R-H. Emily McCane stopped 13 shots for C-C.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND 1

Lauren Becker’s goal in the 79th minute was the difference as Pittsford Sutherland (11-5-0) won its seventh straight game. Becker redirected an Ava O’Neil service for her second goal of the season. Moran Pochtar made six saves including a late stop of Olympia’s leading scorer, Kuditra Derosa, for the shutout – Sutherland’s sixth in the past seven games. The Knights (11-5-0) started the season with two wins in their first six games.

The game was called at halftime due to poor weather conditions. Spencerport (14-0-1) has not lost since the New York State Class Championship game on November 17th of the 2019 season and take a 30-game unbeaten streak into sectionals.

Jillian Keyes snapped a scoreless tie in the 77th minute. Maeve Steckley assisted on the play. Caroline Vines made seven saves for the shutout.

Rachel Lee and Danielle Strauf collected a goal and an assist apiece as Mendon (12-3-1) won its third straight. Bridget Merkel started the scoring with an assist from Charlotte Engin.

Alissa Cook’s second-half goal lifted Canandaigua. Alexa Tenney assisted on the play. Emma Thayer made four saves for the shutout.

Makaylah Higgins finished with two goals and an assist while Chloe Hubbard added a goal and two assists to lead Warsaw (16-0-0). Carly Wick and Mattie Heim connected on a tally apiece. Morgan Langdon and Ellie Tangeman had an assist apiece. Sarah Cox made six saves.

Ava Thayer and MacKenzie Gillen scored two goals apiece as Keshequa (10-3-3) won back-to-back games to close the regular season. Catrina Pierce finished with a goal and two assists in the win. Thayer added an assist while Kirsten VanDorn had two helpers. Emm Jo Pierce, Julia Wilkins, Abby Lewandowski and Kelsey Davis each scored once. Davis also had an assist.

Twice Keegan Smith found the back of the net, and Bath-Haverling (15-1-0) won its 15th straight. Ella Yartym assisted on both goals – Smith’s 11th and 12th markers of the season. Lola Coots made fives saves. Yartym has 25 goals and 23 assists.

LETCHWORTH 0
Megan Rinker scored twice, and Le Roy (8-5-3) won its fourth straight game. Kailyn Tresco also scored for the Oatkan Knights. Lindsey Steffinella and Ashley Michel had an assist apiece.

PAVILION 0
Pavilion’s Ella Conway made four saves.

HORNELL 5
WAYLAND-COHOCTON 0
Hornell (14-2-0) won its fifth straight game.

DUNDEE/BRADFORD 2
BLOOMFIELD 1
Kendall Parker and Nicole Peterson scored second-half goals to lift Dundee/Bradford. Hayden Morrison assisted on both of the goals. Marcy Kast gave Bloomfield a lead heading into halftime. Ashley Bell assisted on the play. Bloomfield’s Sadie Kachmaryk made nine saves. Ellie Fleet stopped eight shots for Dundee/Bradford.

Sadie Harrison scored four goals to lead Penn Yan. Kiera Castner added the fifth Penn Yan tally. Morgan Andersen, Kaley Griffin, Kaylyn Lewis, Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger and Emma Green had an assist apiece.

Chloe Fowler assisted on all three goals to lead HAC. Marisa Kamali, Olivia Strader and Anna Thomas scored a goal apiece. Morgan Fowler made four saves.

Kaia Goode poured in all seven goals for Kearney. Caroline O’Gara had three assists for BK. Gabriella Nitti and Alyssa Yanosh had a helper apiece. Goode leads Section V with 45 goals and 101 points.

NORTHSTAR CHRISTIAN 1

Alezya Brown scored three goals and Ava Quintern added a pair of tallies and one assist to lead Kendall. T’Mia Kitchings also had an assist. Alayna Garwood scored an unassisted goal for Northstar. Teammate Esther Bestha made 12 saves.

NORTH ROSE-WOLCOTT 7

Reilly Batzold, Tori Cooper and Alydia Mcintyre scored two goals apiece to lead North Rose-Wolcott. Batzold added two assists while Cooper had one helper. Sydney Cuykendall also scored for the Cougars. EmmaGrace Humbert and Hanna Stubbe both had an assist.

Caitlynn Ryan had a goal and an assist to lead Oakfield-Alabama/Elba. Piper Hyde and Macy Altamirano also scored for the Hornets. Ava Chatt and Christina Bartholomew had an assist apiece.

Preslee Miller and Alex Thur combined for the shutout, the sixth straight for Fillmore (16-0-0). Hope Russell started the scoring with the first three goals of the game. Sophia Templeton added two tallies. CeCe Schmidt and Amelia Rose both scored once. Grace Russell collected three assists. Zoe Beardsley, Madison Geertman and Emily Krzeminski had one assist apiece. Russell has 27 goals on the season. Fillmore has outscored opponents by a combined total of 75-7. The Eagles have allowed two goals in the past 10 games.

Olivia Kilmer scored twice while Riley Stowe had a goal and two assists as Avoca/Prattsburgh (7-6-1) won for the second time in three games. Laura Morera also found the back of the net for Avoca/Prattsburgh. Kilmer assisted on Morera’s first goal of the season. Alfred-Almond’s Isabel Badeau started the scoring with an unassisted effort. Emily Hammond made seven saves for the win.

Hannah Hoerter connected on the game winner in the 74th minute. Danica Dresser assisted on the play. Gabrielle Doyle started the scoring early in the second half with an assist from Hoerter. Jasper-Troupsburg’s Aubrianna Bradley provided the equalizer.

Bradyn Orbaker, Alex Pacheco, Brady McCarthy and Logan Bulman each scored a goal. Jose Zuniga Vega had two assists. Braeden Tuper also had a helper.

Andrew Thomas finished with a goal and an assist to lead Palmyra-Macedon. Logan Babcock and Mateo Sloan scored a goal apiece. Robert Kinsman added an assist. Ryan Lest scored the lone Naples goal with an assist from Austin Chapman.
