After 80 minutes of scoreless action, Lily Rexford and Brooke Burd both connected in the first minute of overtime to lead Canisteo-Greenwood. Natalie Postilli assisted on Burd’s marker. Lillian Mullen and Bethany Matacale combined on the shutout. Mullen made 14 saves over 85 minutes, and Matacale stopped one shot.

Gianna Ryndock tallied a pair of goals including the game winner as Wayne rallied to stay undefeated. Trailing 2-0, Ryndock connected late in the first half. After teammate Riley Simpson leveled the match early in the second stanza, Ryndock finished an unassisted effort for the eventual game winner. Trinity Surowiec added an insurance goal with help from Ryndock. Surowiec and Addison Rice both contributed an assist in the victory. Kaitlyn Wright had a goal and an assist to give Geneva a 2-nil advantage less than 30 minutes into the match. Zyla Reid added the second Geneva goal.

For 40 minutes Wednesday night, the Fairport boys’ soccer team went through the paces of an exercise in frustration. A first half in which the Red Raiders carried the large part of the momentum produced little more than a trio of corner kick opportunities, a pair of scoring chances nullified by offsides, a break stopped in the open field and a shot that found the post. Sujan Rajamohan made it a 3-2 game with six minutes remaining. Andrew Wiebold had the helper on the second Spencerport goal.
