RJ Wilkins led the charge with nine points and Aiden Cook followed with two clutch threes. Wilkins finished with 23 points and Cook snagged 16 with the help of four long range shots. Brady Schroeder and Ty Salmon combined for nine points and Caden Harrington contributed a single field goal in the final period. Salmon collected 21 points and Schroeder had 12 by the end of the game. Aquinas junior Myles Blackwood drained 11 of his 12 field goals after the first quarter to finish with 26 points. Wesley Henderson came through with 12 points, Will Scanlon muscled out 11 and Jack Bleier and Robert McCullough both finished with 10 apiece. Gentile (28), Johnson (21), Gissendanner (18) and Taggart (12) all bolstered offensive production. Finney’s Markus Robinson stood on his head within the arc, burying 16 baskets and making 7-of-11 free throws to finish with 39 points. Keonjay Carter registered 36 points and shot 12-of-14 from the line to lead Park over East in what was both sides’ season openers. Separated by five points entering the fourth quarter, Carter made 6-of-7 free throws and four field goals to combat East’s final push. Caleb Hutchins and Desmond Davis combined for 30 points for Park with 21 and 19, respectively. East outscored Park 29-28 in the fourth with the help of Justus Simmons’ six swishes and 12 points. He finished with 30 points while Darren Blocker came away with 20 on 10 makes. The biggest difference maker was free throw shooting. East finished the game 8-for-23 from the line while Park went 26-for-30. With nine different point scorers, Batavia used an all-around team effort to improve to 3-0. Stone Siverling manned the offense with 18 points and 8-of-9 made free throws within the first three quarters. Zach Gilebarto followed with 14 points and two successful shots from long range. Alex Hale added nine, Carter McFollins and Luke Rogers collected seven apiece and Brandon Bartz drained two field goals for four. Javin McFollins (3), Zach Brown (2) and Tanner Mountain (2) rounded out scoring for the Blue Devils. For Attica, Ayden Goll found success in the second half, where he scored all of his team-leading 14 points. Ian Romesser put up seven points and Nick Perl followed with six. After a slow first quarter, Jacob Shadders and Jackson Green split 40 points to lead Mendon to its third straight victory. Shadders tallied 18 points in the final three quarters while Green produced all of his within that span. Luke Hoyser registered all of his 13 points in the last half and went 6-of-8 from the stripe. Most of HFL’s offense ran through three players; Patrick Lustyk, Nolan Smith and Josh Vogt. Between the three, they scored all but seven of the Cougars’ points. Lustyk led the charge with 20 points that included 6-for-6 shooting from the line in the fourth. Smith contributed 18 points and Vogt finished with 17 using the help of three three’s. For Penn Yan, Griffin Emerson led the team with 15 points including 12 of the Mustangs’ 23 points at halftime. Maximilian Brodmann was second in team-scoring, with all seven of his points coming in the final quarter. Quinn Nolan added 11 and Alexander Wootton contributed seven, including a fourth quarter three-pointer. For Newark, Brayden Steve led the offense with 17 points. In the first quarter alone, he drained three shots from long range and added a field goal for a 21-13 lead by the second. Simon Vermeersch registered 12 and Adam Lombardi threw in nine. Jung connected three times from the floor during the final stanza including her third 3-pointer of the day. The senior captain also converted on all three of her free throw attempts. Elazja Miller scored four of her six points over the final eight minutes of action. Miller also finished the game with six steals. Abby Dewar collected nine points and nine rebounds in the win. Tehilyah Murray and Nondja Nelson added eight points apiece for Olympia. Macie Vetter and Giana Dimora both scored two points. Odyssey’s Jenayla Hunter scored eight of her 14 points in the first quarter when the Lady Leopards jumped to a 10-9 edge. Hunter connected four times from deep range in the game. Asia Philip paced Odyssey with 16 points. Sienna Tyo added eight points, and Serenity Rodgers had three. Olympia led 34-29 heading into the fourth quarter.

Sidney Stone and Madison Lee each added nine points for the Mustangs. Warsaw’s Emma Tangeman led team-scoring with seven points and Mackenzie Ryan ran the glass with 12 rebounds. Keshequa’s Libby Benner finished with 12 points and six rebounds, leading the team in both categories. Ava Thayer tallied nine points for the Indians as well. Hammondsport’s Hannah Hoerter got hot in the final half, making two three’s and three field goals to finish with 12 points. LaZell Locey contributed eight points with four coming from the line.
