Four players scored in double figures as Missouri built a double-digit lead and held off a late Illinois push to hand the Illini their second loss in three games. Xavier Pinson and Dru Smith scored 17 points apiece to pace the Tigers. Javon Pickett added 14 points off the bench. Kobe Brown scored 12 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in the win.
Pickett’s layup with 10:09 to go in the game gave Missouri a 66-56 lead. Smith followed with a 3-pointer for a 13-point Missouri advantage.
Ayo Dosumu connected on 13 of 20 shots from the floor to lead the Illini with 36 points. The junior guard’s jumper with 3:21 remaining in the game tied the game at 76, but Illinois could not take the lead. Illinois beat Duke earlier in the week.

John Fulkerson highlighted a 14-3 Tennessee run to close the game with six of his game-high 15 points. The senior forward converted four free throws and hit a jumper as the Volunteers erased a late deficit.
Trailing 53-51 with 6:14 remaining, Fulkerson connected on four straight from the stripe to give Tennessee a lead it did not surrender. Teammate Yves Pons followed with a jumper and Jaden Springer finished a layup to help the Volunteers pull away. Fulkerson grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for the double-double.
Jeremiah Davenport scored 14 points off the bench to lead Cincinnati.

Armando Bacot posted a double-double, and North Carolina snapped a mini two-game skid. Bacot finished with game-highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds. The sophomore forward hit 6-of-7 from the floor. His five offensive rebounds were part of an overall effort which saw the Tar Heels collect 11 boards on the offensive end and outscore NCCU 16-9 in second-chance points.
Caleb Love and Dayron Sharpe added 12 points apiece for UNC.
C.J. Keyser scored 19 points to lead North Carolina Central. The Eagles closed the game on 9-0 run.

Texas Tech opened a double-digit lead less than eight minutes into the contest and led 33-21 at halftime on the way to its fourth straight win. Terrence Shannon Jr. paced the Red Raiders with 15 points. Micah Peavy and Marcus Santos-Silva both contributed 12 points. Mac McClung handed out a game-high six assists.
Nolan Bertain led the Islanders with 12 points off the bench.

Scottie Barnes and M.J. Walker scored 17 points apiece to lead Florida State. Barnes handed out a team-high five assists. Anthony Polite added 14 points. Raiquan Gray grabbed eight rebounds.
Scottie Lewis topped Florida with 19 points.
Florida junior Keyontae Johnson collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. The SEC Preseason Player of the Year was reported to be in stable but critical condition.
