Five players scored in double figures as Baylor won by double digits for the fourth time this season. The Bears connected on three straight 3-pointers to take a double-digit lead heading into the break.
Leading 29-22, L.J. Cryer connected first from long range. Matthew Mayer followed next time down the floor, and Adam Flagler made it 38-22 game with the third trey in as many tries. Flagler finished with a game-high 14 points off the bench on 4-of-7 shooting including 3-of-4 from long range. Mayer connected on both of his attempts from behind the arc. The Bears as a team shot 9-of-20 from distance.
Baylor forced 35 turnovers which the Bears converted into a 40-10 advantage in points off miscues.

Greg Brown led three players in double figures, and Texas rebounded from its only loss of the season. Brown connected on 7-of-14 shots from the floor for a game-high 18 points. Andrew Jones connected on a 3-pointer to give the Longhorns their first double-digit lead of the game at 21-10 with 8:58 remaining in the first half. Courtney Ramey added a dunk on the following possession. Jones and Ramey scored 11 apiece in the game.
Jericho Sims had eight points to go with a game-high nine rebounds.
Mason Harrell led Texas State with 14 points.
Texas lost to Villanova, 68-64 in their previous outing.
RHODE ISLAND (3-3) 62

Brad Davison paced an early Wisconsin attack from long range as the Badgers opened a double-digit lead that they maintained until late in the second half.
Davison connected on three straight attempts from distance over the opening 4:10 of the game to give Wisconsin a 10-2 lead. D’Mitrik Trice pushed the advantage to 17-6 with a triple of his own. The Badgers eventually took a 33-17 lead into halftime.
Davison finished with a game-high 23 points on 3-of-5 shooting from long range and 12-of-12 from the free throw line. Micah Potter added 13 points. Aleem Ford had 11. Trice had eight points and a game-high four assists.
Jeremy Sheppard led Rhode Island with 13 points.

Kyler Edwards converted on all four of his free throw attempts and scored six points over the final seven minutes as Texas Tech closed on a 15-8 run to win its third straight game. Edwards finished 9-of-10 from the free throw line part of an overall effort from the Red Raiders who outscored Abilene Christian 25-6 from the stripe.
Edwards led all scorers with 19 points. Nimari Burnett added 10 off the bench. Texas Tech shot 12 of 43 (27.9 percent) from the floor for the game.
NORTHERN IOWA (1-4) 68
NO. 19 RICHMOND (4-0) 78
Trailing by as many as six points, Richmond used a 19-6 run early in the second half to go on and win by double digits for the third time this season. Tyler Burton finished with a game-high 21 points including a go-ahead traditional three-point play. Trailing 40-38, Burton was fouled when hitting a jumper and converted the ensuing free throw. Teammate Jacob Gilyard followed with a layup, and Souleymane Koureissi connected on his three-point play. A Grant Golden jumper eventually pushed the lead to 10 at 55-45.
Burton converted 7-of-9 shots from the floor and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. Golden also logged a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Gilyard finished with 12 points and a game-high 11 assists. Blake Francis added 16 points for the Spiders.
Tywhon Pickford scored 16 points off the bench to lead Northern Iowa.

NO. 20 FLORIDA STATE 69 OT
Freshman Scottie Barnes connected on a running jumper off the glass with 1.8 seconds remaining to lift Florida State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The win was the 10th straight in overtime for Florida State.
Barnes scored five of his nine points in the overtime period. M.J. Walker led the Seminoles with 19 points. Raiquan Gray and Balsa Koprivica had 12 apiece. Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis led all scorers with 25 points.
The game had 16 ties and 10 lead changes.

Nigel Scantlebury (Greece Athena) converted six of eight free throws and finished with 12 points. The junior guard handed out six assists without any turnovers. Scantlebury also collected two rebounds and a steal.
