Ethain Clarke-DeSouza and Ke’Vion Mitchell both posted double-doubles as SOTA won its third straight and ninth in the last 10. Clarke-DeSouza scored 11 of his game-high 24 points in the second quarter to help the Silverhawks to a double-digit advantage heading into the locker room. Averaging 22.9 points per game, Clarke-DeSouza topped the 20-point mark for the fifth straight game and 10th time this season. The junior guard also grabbed 15 rebounds and handed out two assists. Mitchell scored 15 points, corralled 10 rebounds and had four assists. Logan Hayes collected 16 points, eight rebounds and two assists in the win. Reggie Smith added 12 points and five rebounds. Loral Dillard (7) and Keshaun Chatman (7) also scored for SOTA. Chatman had nine boards. Romel Brown and Jeshua Shaw paced World of Inquiry with 16 points apiece. Kevonne Fountain scored nine. Carlos Alvarez had three points and Dorian Smith, two.

Horace Betts IV scored eight of his team-high 24 points in the third quarter when Lyons (No. 4 NYSSWA Class C) pulled away for its eighth win in the past nine games. Betts connected three times from the floor and converted both of his free throw attempts in the stanza when the Lions outscored North Rose-Wolcott, 21-8 to take a 26-point lead heading into the final eight minutes. JC Walker scored 15, and Jay Battle added 10 in the win. Beni Kemp and Nate Henry chipped in six apiece. Ahmir James had five. Connor Bastian (3), James Gravino (3) and Jahtezz Barber (2) also scored for Lyons. Quintin Norris paced North Rose-Wolcott with 24 points. Christian Scarborough added. Cameron McCann, Noah Dauphin, Evan Scarborough and Joe Reed had four apiece for the Cougars.
